We have stayed at Wawel Hotel for 3 days. There were no shampoo. The cleanliness of the room was deficient (including garbage of previous passengers). The bed was unconfortable. The bed corners were really dangerous. I've been hurt on my knee while walking in the room.

First of all we choose Hotel Wawel because of their "non-smoking-pets-free" hotel. As we came to Hotel Wawel we found nice and helpful persons and a nice quiet room agianst the street. We didn't notice any traffic. Every day the room were cleaned and new toweles was found. We had free internet. The breakfast was good. The receptionist help us with all kind of questions. Even with tickets to the Salt Mine- and Auswitch- tour. As we are a mature couple we will recomend the Hotel Wawel for mature people - quiet and very near the market place.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Wawel. The staff was wonderful - if I asked a question they didn't know the answer to, they'd Google it and call my room. They were always very friendly. Hotel is right in the middle of everything. 5 minute walk to the base of Wawel castle, 5 minute walk to the cloth hall. Beautiful churches everywhere with concerts at night. Room was very comfy, quiet, AC worked well and the shower was fantastic - great water pressure and nice warm water. Check out Miod Molina (right on the corner near the hotel) for the best polish food you can find - a Michelin rated restaurant. Skip Pod Anitolami which is also nearby. Atmosphere is great, food is a huge disappointment.

The hotel was nice, clean, and well represented by its 3 stars. The location was fantastic! The staff was helpful when asked, some friendlier than others, but always competent. The restaurant attached to (but not run by?) the hotel, the "Rocking Horse," was also nice, reasonable, and great for a late night drink or meal. We would absolutely stay at the Hotel Wawel again!

We were parents travelling with 19yo daughter, and had 2 rooms. Both were excellent. The staff had very good English and were very helpful with directions, booking a tour to Aushcwitz and even loaning us their personal umbrellas. Breakfast was very generous. Enjoyed the Mexican restaurant a few doors away, and there are plenty of restaurant options in the Square.

We stayed in Krakow for 3 days in july 2010. The hotel is very close to the market and it is just 10 minutes to go to Kazmiers. The breakfast on the hotel was very good, the staf was very helpful and they spoke english very well. This is a hotel wich we can very well recomend.

Central location. Very comfortable room. Lovely outdoor courtyard. Reasonable breakfast. Excellent internet access. Parking nearby (pay). As a mature couple, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wawel Hotel. 'Krakow in Your Pocket' is an invaluable guide for eateries & attractions - available from the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel & would stay there again. PS We stayed for 6 nights.
