Hotel Petrus - Krakow

The location of the hotel is a bit of a challenge... if you are a "walking tourist", prepare to walk to a streetcar (15 min) and then take it to the historic centre. If you are driving, it's more convenient. I would also appreciate if the hotel staff would tell me more about the facilities... I did not realize there was a sauna! The breakfast is great!!!

Very nice hotel. Rooms very clean and staff was very competent. Breakfast was good. We had a rented car during or stay and the hotel has its own secured parking place, free of charge for the hotel customers. It was easy for us to get into the city with our car since we had navigator, but I am not sure about public transportation. Hotel is about 2km to the center.

Nice and clean hotel, helpful service. But the top-flore is not the best flore to stay in a warm summerday. Very hot and no aitcondition. Noce town with a lot of nice restaurants, we are pleased whit our stay overall.

The hotel is clean, well run, and with a courteous and helpful staff who are proficient in English. My single room, though somewhat small, was comfortably furnished and bright, with a large, modern bathroom. The breakfast is excellent. The hotel's location is pleasant, but it is considerably further from the center than the advertised 1.5 kilometers. However, the walk to the center along the river is enjoyable (about 45 minutes) and there is the tram service (about a 10-minute walk to the tram)is frequent and inexpensive.

I feel that this was a good hotel however it is a lot further than 1.5 km from the Krakow Old town its a walk of around 50 minutes, and you would need to get 2 buses (or 1 tram and a bus) to get there. On the plus side it is right near a Wonderful Nature Area which we would have missed had we stayed more centrally.

There was difficulty accessing public transport form the hotel and weather conditions made what would have been a pleasant stroll into a trip to the antartic. Deatils of how to reacg the hotel by public transport would be extremely useful. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks

Staff were very welcoming and accomodating, nothing was too much trouble. Well positioned just outside the city centre ( 5 mins by taxi ). The choice of drinks in the bar is a little limited with only wine, beer of polish vodka on offer. The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious, particularly recommend the sour soup. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is far from the city center. For to go to the city center you must take a taxi. You have to pay 5 euros each trip.
