The Kazimierz district was established by the Polish King Kazimierz (Casimir the Great) in the 14th century. It later became the Jewish district, and Szeroka Street was in the real heart of it. The Dom Casimi can be found at 7/8 Szeroka street.

I stayed at Dom Casimi in my vacations in Krakow, it's a really nice hotel. It's not that fancy, but it's near to the city center and Oskar Schindler's factory (even walking) No need to worry about the food, Dom Casimi is the center of the restaurants and bars in Kazimierz and tour guides just in front of the hotel. The staff is nice and helpful, I assure you they will do everything in their power to help. I absolutely recommend this hotel, it's cheap and nice :)

A good hotel. If anything, the choice for breakfast was very poor. Other than that, a good stay!

I stayed 7 nights at the Dom Casimi in Krakow in Sept 2008. It was an entirely satisfactory, mostly unremarkable hotel. I'd stay there again, although I'd doublecheck other options first. The room was fine, large enough but with an awkward layout which wasn't inviting. No big deal in a budget hotel. The shower was good. The quality of the daily room cleaning was fine, but it wasn't as thorough as other places I've stayed -- absolutely no horror stories, though, just medium standards. The one stand-out is the quality of their free breakfast. High quality meats (wonderful sausage) and cheeses (brie some mornings), fruit (plums and pears in season compared to apples at a nice hotel I stayed at in Prague the week before), yogurt, cereal, breads, coffee and juices (Poland is big on blackcurrant juice -- it didn't show up every morning but it was wonderful when it did), set out for guests to choose whatever they like rather than be a rationed portion. The location is excellent. The museums, historic areas and things that interest me are within walking distance. All the hotel staff was fine. The young women who staffed in the day and early evening were particularly smart and helpful -- if I had anything to ask about Krakow, I tried to time it for when they were working, which seemed to be about 8 am to 8 pm.

Located near to the city centre (just a 10 minutes walking), the hotel is clean and very quiet. The atmosphere is unformal.

Cute little hotel in the Jewish quarter, in a lovely square with about 8 restaurants/pubs. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again.

A simple, clean, welcoming and friendly hotel in the heart of the old Jewish quarter, with history all around, and very reasonable prices. We were very impressed!

Excellent location: close to downtown, in the trendy Kasiierz jewish quarter (lots of bars and cafes) but in a very quiet square with trees.

Good location not far from Estery street. They serve dinner after 9 o'clock in the evening at the connect Indian restaurant. 10-20 walk from the main square and railway station. A modest breakfast which is served from 7 Monday-Saturday, but only from 8.30 on Sunday mornings.

since spending some time in India I was quite disappointed of the quality of the indian restaurant located in the hotel. On our first evening we ordered 4 biriyani dishes which where overcooked and nearly uneatable. as we had ordered two doubles our friends which instead of the double found a 4-bed-dorm and this since being in the front part of the hotel towards the Szeroka Street found it quite noise till late night. Breakfast service was not optimal(coffee, milk and a waiter who was not able to memorize 4 different breakfast types) But on the other hand staying right in the center of Kasimierc was compensating everything.

The smallish, dark ,cramped dinning which also doubles as an Indian restaurant was to me the weak point of the hotel. The breakfast was reasonable only and some of the staff a little indifferent! The hotel had at times the unmistakably smell of curry so if you are not a curry eater best think before you go. The reception staff were very helpful and if you do not mind a pleasant 20 minutes walk to the old town an excellent area to stay bags of atmosphere, if a little shabby, excellent cafes and small shops.
