The Koala hotel warmly welcomes guests on the wonderful island of Kos. Situated only 100 metres from the beach and the new Marina of Kos, and just 5 minutes walking distance from the town's main centre and the harbour, the family run hotel Koala provides a convenient accommodation for all those who are seeking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Greek islands.
Because of the numerous hotel services and facilities offered, as well as the welcoming atmosphere and friendly hospitality, it is the perfect place to be based for unforgettable holidays in the Greek sun.
Guests can furthermore spend pleasant evenings to discover the picturesque marina, with its nice cafés, typical taverns, restaurants and numerous shops.

Hotel Koala is a family team. Very kind people. It was the first time we stay and we apprecied it is very near the sea .We rent a bicycle,it was very easy to go to the beaches and to the tavernas.The road in front of the hotel is very quiet. We were very satisfied.

A good choice for travelers on a budget. The hotel is about 1 km from the port and city centre, however, and there are limited restaurant options in the immediate neighbourhood.

La qualità della stanza non è un gran chè, il bagno ancora meno. Durante la notte c'è gente che grida, suona e "sbatte le porte". Se non si vuole spendere molto e si accettano alcuni compromessi può essere una sistemazione accettabile.

As a single traveller I loved my stay at Koala Hotel, I found the proprietors very welcoming and helpful. The Koala is on the east side of Kos town, close to the marina, and a 20 minute stroll into the town centre. Nice buffet continental breakfast is served between 7.30 & 9.30 am which can be taken in the dining area, or outside on the patio. Rooms, although basic, were always kept very clean and tidy. This is a real family run hotel with caring, friendly staff. There are some nice traditional tavernas nearby, try Taverna Hirodion for lovely grills. I would certainly recommend this hotel, and will be returning sometime soon.

This is a typical greek family hotel, very nice personnel, everybody speaks ecxellent english,(they have been living in Australia before. everything was ok on my stay in May 2007.

By airplane
The Kos Island Hippocrates international airport is located about 27 km (16.7 miles) away from the hotel and is serviced by all major European airports. Bus and taxi services are available at the airport bus station, with connections throughout the island.
By boat
There are daily ferry boat and fast hydrofoil services connecting the harbour of Kos to the mainland. The hotel is located about 800 metres (0.5 miles) away from the port and is easily reachable on foot.
