Hotel ben curato,letti nuovi e comodi,le stanze pulite. La proprietaria:una persona simpatica, socievole e molto gentile. La zona è tranquilla e non troppo rumorosa, per arrivare nel quartiere dove c'è più vita notturna bastano solo 10 minuti a piedi.

I stayed one night at the Americana. Chris, the proprietor was lovely - extremely helpful and welcoming. The hotel was perfect for my requirements - the rooms were spacious and impeccable. My room wasn't needed the following day and Chris said not to worry about checking out, giving me a much needed lie-in! All in all a great start to my holiday.

I have stayed at the Americana hotel in July 2008 for 2 nights. I then went to Rhodes, Bodrum and back to Kos again for 1 last night. I asked Chris, the owner and manager for a room for my last night but she said she was fully booked, therefore I booked at another hotel. What can I say? In the 2 weeks I spent in Greece and Turkey, I have stayed in about 5 hotels in total, as I was doing island hopping. Of all these hotels, Americana Hotel comes top by a thousand miles, both in terms of quality, price and service! I agree with some of the comments that this hotel should be rated at least 3 stars! Thanks God there is Chris in Greece, cos some of the hotel owners/managers I have come across give a very bad image about Greek hospitality! Book at the Americana Hotel with your eyes shut. You will have a wonderful experience! (else I will personally refund your money!!) I have to thank the lady serving breakfast for she gives you a service only a loving mother can equal! Ah, and don't forget to go eat at the Hirodion restaurant! Chris wil tell you where to find it. Enjoy your stay
