The hotel was having an extension built outside my room. If I'd known that builders would wake me up every morning by drilling and hammering I would not have booked the hotel at this time. I even had a builder walking across the balcony while I was laying in bed! The hotel was fantastic, clean and well positioned with caring and attentive staff, however my stay was ruined by the builders as I had gone there to recharge my batteries and relax. I feel either Venere or the hotel should have told me about the building work so I could have gone elsewhere. I am considering seeking compensation.

From the Klagenfurt train station, take the bus line 40 to Heiligengeistplatz and change to line 10 to Schiffanlegestelle, which is right in front of the hotel.
By airplane
From Klagenfurt airport, take bus line 45 to Annabichl (or walk for about 5 minutes). Change to line 40 to Heiligengeistplatz and take line 10 to Schiffanlegestelle, which is right in front of the hotel.
