Stayed here to watch the Ironman - great central town location and easy bike ride to the Lake. Hotel were very accommodating both to IM athletes with early breakfast etc and also very helpful towards me and my hundreds of questions! Rooms are basic and there is no air condiitioning but this is a great "base" hotel and i would definitely stay there again.

I rented a bike from the hotel. It got a puncture about 10kms from the hotel. the hotel owner immediately drove out with a second bike. tells you all you need to know about the friendly professional attitude throughout the hotel. marked down for quietness, but the owner told me that some rooms at the back are much more quiet
