The hotel is old, noisy and the staff isn´t helpful. I booked an air conditioned room but they gave me a big room with a fan. I spent two horrible hot nights that way because I thaught there weren´t air conditioned rooms in the hotel until I knew that there were. Then I asked to change the room and they did it. From then on the stay was more comfortable. When I left the hotel I asked a discount for those two nights and after arguing with the receptionist -she didn't even look at my face while arguing telling me that she was very busy- they made me a discount of 30€. I´ve been on holidays in Greece the last two years and this is the first time that I´ve been treated so badly. Anyway I won´t change my opinion about this country that I love so much.

Lage optimal, Busbahnhof, Fähre, Altstadt, Shopping, Nightlife, alles in unmittelbaren Nähe! Das heisst aber auch, dass man die laute Strasse die ganze Nacht geniesst, beim geschlossenem Fenster schläft sich schlecht, es gibt kein Air Condition. Das Panoramablick, wie aus unserem Zimmer 408, gibt es nicht aus allen Zimmer, das Hotel sind eigentlich 2 Häuser, es gibt auch Fenster in ein Hof und auf die Strasse der Innenstadtseite. Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet, Dusche mit einem Duschvorhang, Bad/WC Einrichtung scheint neuer zu sein. Es war sauber. Sehr positiv: Frühstücksbuffet gibt es ab 6:30, wir konnten schon um 6:15 alles haben. Gesammteindruck: Ein bescheidenes, sauberes Stadthotel für wenig Geld, Ohrstöpsel mitzunehmen! Bemerkung - Kavala ist eine fantastische Stadt. Flughafenreisende - es gibt kein Shuttlebus Stadt - Flughafen, Taxi kosten 27 €.
