Daugirdas Hotel - Kaunas

Overall another great stay there. People in the room next door came in at about 2-3AM both nights and talked for an hour - seemed like 6-10 people talking and I could hear them a bit too well. Also, restaurant closed for wedding (even though it was over and people were leaving, it was still closed). but then there were a lot of weddings on 11-11-11 so that wasn't unexpected. Regardless, it is still the best place in Kaunas to stay.

This hotel is worth a visit. I stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are spacious, food great and more importantly value for money at 50 euro a night. It is defo a 4 star hotel. The staff were friendly and even though the found it difficult to understand my Irish accent they were very patient. Well done to all. It is only 100 mtrs from the old square where everything is. You would do Kaunas in a day and a half. Friendly people reside here.

The hotel is very, very nice, but it is in the middle of old town Kaunas, that has lots and lots of depleated buildings. So sorroundings are pretty gloomy, although safe also at night.

We liked a lot the design of the hotel, in paticular how the old building is incorporated into the new one. Very welcoming reception, excellent room/hotel space - this was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed!

stayed in double room on 4th floor in the attic superb room very spacious and large, the hotel is very clean and staff are very good and welcoming, will be staying there again on return ideal location for everything.

Large rooms, clean, decent location, good breakfast..... All very good. I would much rather stay here than the 5* (de Rome) that I stayed at in Riga after....

Very competent and friendly staff. A superb hotel set in very good surroundings. Good value for money.
