Upon arrival we were requested to pay for our 3-night stay in advance. Usually hotels accept credit cards as guarantee. This hotel didn't. The Receptionist wanted to use my credit card as a debit card (PIN code). It took a lot of arguing before they accepted our cash payment for 2 nights. We paid for the 3rd night at 10am on the day before our departure. At 2pm, despite the fact we had fully paid, the key cards to our room had been blocked!

The Thermal Spa Hotel features a congress centre with many meeting rooms, 3 small projection rooms with 50 seats each, exhibition halls and several indoor and outdoor areas, including a terrace for exhibitions and other presentations.
In the summer, several screenings of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival take place at the hotel.
The Large Cinema Hall can accommodate up to 1,145 persons.
The Congress Hall can accommodate up to 260 guests.
The Small Cinema Hall is a theatre with 243 seats.
The Lounges I, II, III can accommodate 35, 30 and 35 persons.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after 2 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than 12 p.m.
INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Access to the outdoor swimming pool is not included in the price and costs CZK 80 per person per hour.
Access to the fitness room is not included in the price and costs CZK 90 per person per 90 minutes.
Outdoor parking and garage parking are not included in the price and cost CZK 200 per car per 24 hours.

Cots are not included in the price and cost CZK 500 for stays longer than 8 nights.
