Hotel Acqua Vatos - Kamari

Fantastic location, staff, quality of hotel. Loved this place. Closed to all retaurants, shopping etc. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful with all enquiries. Would definitely stay there again.

Good genreral quality hotel, hotel position is good near the beach of Kamari (there is also a swimming pool), George the owner is great person and he tries to welcome you as much he can. The only negative thing is bathroom are small

We have chosen hotel because it was small and close to beach and offered also a pool. We have been staying 7 days.

I stayed in Kamari for 9 days. The hotel is in an excellent location, near to restaurants and bars but in a quiet location.

Buona la colazione a buffet, graziose le camere. il bagno mi è sembrato davvero piccino e la doccia aveva la tenda, quindi se non si stava attenti si lavava completamente il pavimento, poi non avendo la finestra emanava cattivo odore di umido. La notte, essendo l'hotel posizionato appena prima della zona pedonale, era un pò rumoroso per via dei motorini. Piscina abbastanza ampia.

George and Alina were fantastic. Very helpful with questions. They were better than any other travel agent you will find on the Island!

Hotel was nice, and the staff very helpful and friendly. However, we had quite a small room, and the shower was particularly small. I also found the breakfast to be quite basic and repetitive. Also, the entrance onto the road is a little dangerous due to no pavement/sidewalk.

We LOVED the Acqua Vatos! This was our first hotel on the islands and the best. The price is excellent and the service was among the best of our entire trip. It is very close to the black pebble beach in the cozy little town of Kamari which was far less crowded and much more welcoming than the popular town of Fira. The swimming pool was wonderful and the breakfast was excellent. The woman who prepares breakfast prepares delicious baked goods! I was also impressed with the degree of English the owners speak.

The brother and sister team of Alina and George are Aqua Vatos' best asset. They were very helpful throughout. The room was fine - not that big but clean. The area, kamari, was very touristy and not our favourite of the greek islands but a good option for beaches on Santorini. The hotel had a good family feel and is a good option for those with young kids who would like the pool area. Overall we were happy with our stay but preferred Mykonos and Ios.

In Italy with the price of the rooms of this hotel, you can find much more! The room is small, not quiet... The best of this hotel is the pool. I advise San Torini at the couple because is very romantic, but not very funny!

Ahhh- I've been traveling around europe for 3 years now. I'm an American, so I'm used to spacious rooms, amenitities and overuse. (JK) - well some of its true. I've been using Venere as the price hub since I moved to Europe and have been asked to provide feed back numerous times, but I've declined bc/ of personal time. Most hotels/Inns meet their star rating and give adequate description, so if you're upset you need to read all the reviews and options. Now comes Aqua Vatos. The BEST! - I wanted to fill this out bc/ their a great deal, in a great part of Santorini, especially in the summer. You can't beat their hospitality. I owe their staff prayers, bc/ they were so genuine. I liked their hotel, their staff, the town, the beach and the atmosphere. We came with a 4 month old baby and they did all the little things to make sure we were kept at the quiet end of the hotel, comfortable and well informed. They took care of taxis, buses and all necessary information. For the people on the opposite end (ready for all fun and excitement) I could tell they were doing the same. Have no doubts, young married couples with infants want to have fun too, we just need to feel assured we're taken care off... They were giving numbers, helping to make arrangements for all sorts of activities and just being sincere. Thier awesome! The hotel was CLEAN, had WIRELESS and served a great BREAKFEST free of charge. Did I mention the hotel was clean, had a clean pool and was perfectly located for what I think was the best beach in Santorini. This is a 5 star staff in a great hotel priced at everyday people charges. I had to write in and tell Venere how excited and thankful I was. I dont like to oversell, bc/ it sets expectations to high - follow the VENRE rec's, but I bet you'll find their the best price for the dollar, euro or yen in Europe! V/R Steve

George and Alina where the best hosts I have ever encountered at a hotel, let alone a hotel in Europe. They were the friendliest, most helpful people ever. They gave us Awsome reccomendations for places to eat. Took care of us in every way.

Very nice hotel managers. Hotel is clean, with a nice pool, and close to the beach area. Breakfasts are very good. Excellent quality/price ratio.

Ein sehr nettes Hotel mit freundlichem Service, zentral gelegen, tagsüber auch ruhig, nachts leider Moped- und Autolärm vom benachbarten Parkplatz und von der Strasse. Fernbedienung für Klimaanlage und Fernseher waren nicht vorhanden und die Geräte konnten somit nicht bedient werden. Dennoch würde ich das Hotel wieder wählen.

This hotel was excellent value. A really beautiful hotel run by a very helpful and friendly family. The service was excellent, and the facilities, especially the swimming pool made our stay really enjoyable. Definitely the best place we stayed while in Greece, and would strongly reccommend it.
