The Boulis Hotel boasts a prime location on Sifnos, sitting right on its sandy shores. Situated in Kamares, this Sifnos beach hotel is a short walk from the town centre, which has still retained the charm of a fishing village despite being the island's main port. Agios Symeon Monastery, churches, restaurants and taverns are in the vicinity and regular bus services depart from Kamares too all parts of the island.
Stay at this superb Kamares hotel and explore Sinfos, one of the most authentic Greek islands in the Aegean. Being located in a quiet and rural spot, the hotel is a great place to relax, with a central courtyard, shady vine-covered pergola and a garden, which has paths leading down to the sea.
To keep you feeling refreshed, coffee, tea, juices and soft drinks are served every afternoon, as well as a tempting range of home-made liquors and fruits in thick syrup. Free wireless Internet access is also available in the Boulis Hotel's lobby and garden too.

Hotel is ok, but a little over-priced, maybe because we were there in high-season. It is quite old, but clean. Hot pipes were behaving a bit odd, and sometimes you had the sensation of feeling electricity: owners told us was not electricity but a contact between cold and warm water pipes. Breakfast is not exceptional: not a lot of products, but good. It is served in a nice court. Nice to have a beach just after the fence of the hotel.

I highly recommend Hotel Boulis. Lyn, the owner, is extremely personable and gracious. This was my first trip to Sifnos and I was torn between staying in Kamares and Platys Glialos. I am so happy that I selected Kamares and Hotel Boulis. I visited the beach at Platys Glialos for a few hours and found the people in the area to be very snooty and unfriendly. Please note that although your website states that refreshments are served every afternoon, we did not find that to be true. (From website: "To keep you feeling refreshed, coffee, tea, juices and soft drinks are served every afternoon, as well as a tempting range of home-made liquors and fruits in thick syrup.")

the rooms were clean but in need of modernisation, especially the bathroom which was very antiquated.
