Hotel Vidi Miramare & Delfino - Jesolo

I was at the hotel 15 years ago and services are at the same high level as I remembered. Owner and all staff is friendly, always ready to help the clients.

A wonderful stay! Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location ... private parking right in front of hotel, nice reception area with couches, breakfast on the covered veranda looking right out to the beach & sea! Had a double standard room which was kept quite clean, only complaint would be that it was a bit small even with just the two of us. Great deal for the price which included use of bikes and chairs/umbrella on the beach. Would love to come again!!

Hotel is well placed close to the sea with beautiful view from breakfast room. We have been staying for 3 nights, we did enjoy the nice, warm weather, the nice restaurants in the neibourhood. The Hotel itself was nice and clean, but the room was very small, the bathroom too. And it was loud, not from outside, but from the other rooms.

The hotel and staff were fantastic - I would recommend and stay at the hotel again and again!

Grande attenzione al cliente. Pulizia ottima e cortesia. Camere un po' piccole adatte a breve soggiorno. Per soggiorni oltre la settimana la mia superior era proprio piccola. Per il resto ottimo.

Beach holiday with teen son in July 2007. Hotel is modern, spacious, spotlessly clean, directly on beach and 75m away from Via Bafile shops and restaurants.Easy 15 mins walk from bus station. Beach loungers, bike rentals included in tariff as were breakfast and 2 free treatments at basement health spa. Staff efficient and friendly. Excellent breakfast buffet all-you-can-eat caters for all tastes. Day trip to Venice via bus and 'lagoon-roamer' boat ticket is 19:80 Euros each and a fantastic day out. Not the cheapest hotel in town but good value. We'd love to come back some day.

We could not fault the hotel,staff or area location.Would highly recomend it.only one small complaint.(Take your own hairdrier as the one in the room was not to good.)

One week stay.Excellent welcome from night porter but disinterested attitude from other front of house staff. Very little advice on local excursions , sights etc. Booklet(2004) on notice board. Seem to be interested only in Italian visitors. Thermae staff friendly and welcoming.

The Vidi Miramare & Delfino is an excellent hotel, standard of room servicing and staff assistance were as good as anywhere we've stayed.We were in a superior double with side seaview which was well decorated and comfortable if not spacious, and spotlessly cleaned.However,we arrived a week before the season proper had begun (May 3rd to 10th) and it was clear that both the resort and hotel weren't fully up to speed. On the plus side, this meant the beach wasn't crowded and the hotel tranquil. On the downside not all the facilities were up and running (e.g. beach service from the hotel bar) and within the resort, restaraunts/bars opened sporadically. Fortunately we took advantage of the free bikes on offer from the hotel which enabled us to get around the resort for some variety.Breakfast at the hotel improved as our stay progressed and there are some very good restaraunts in the resort from good value pizzeria at 30 - 50 euro for a 3 course meal with drinks(Tempini & Vesuvio)to fine dining for 60 - 80 euro(Alfredo's). Our choice of Jesolo was primarily its proximity to Venice, which is 40 mins by bus or an hour by bus and ferry and indeed it proved easy to travel back and forth at 16 euro for bus n boat even late into the night, though I imagine in the height of season these can get very busy during the day. Venice itself was overwhelmed with tourists and incredibly expensive, e.g. 80 euro for 20 mins in a Gondola or 100 -130 for a meal and drinks near the main tourist attractions. That said it was worth seeing as it is truly a unique city. On balance, the hotel and resort were an oasis of peace after a busy day jostling with frantic tourists in Venice and this made the pre-season timing of our visit an advantage. We would highly recommend the Vidi Miramare either for a beach holiday on it's own or as the most sensible way to visit Venice.
