No doubt this 3 star hotel scored well on the fact it has a swimming pool, rights to a section of the beach (100m away), serves lunch and evening meal in addition to collazione and has a spacious comfortable bar and separate lounge. But I'm afraid the rooms are the let-down. My room, and my sister's, were both fitted out in the cheapest MFI flat-pack type furniture, and the bed was a military style cheap metal framed one more usually found in a hostel. For a three star hotel I expected better. Air-con is an additional charge too. The other issue people should be aware of is that the hotel charges on a "per person" basis - EURO 55.00 for B&B. About right if you're a single traveller or single parent with one child, but if you're a couple with two children I would say the EURO 220.00 per night would be obscene considering you're likely to get a 1/2 star double room with a double bunk crammed in (as my sister did). Because of this I don't think this hotel represents good value for money for family groups and cannot recommend it as such. For balance, I would also say that the breakfast spread was above average for an Italian 3 star, all of the staff were helpful, polite and efficient, and the bus stop with a connection to Punta Sabbioni and Venice is just a few minutes walk away. The hotel sells the rover type tickets that cover the bus trip and all trips on the water buses within Venice (currently EURO 20.80).

Our room number 8, no hot water how is one supposed to shower in this room, no shower dish!!! water runs all over the floor will not stay again, we usually stay at another hotel but it was full, we have being going to Jeselo for 4 years very dissapointed this time.

The cleanliness should be improved (the cleaning ladies spent just 5 minutes to tidy up the room)... maybe they just arranged the bed. Moreover, they should restore the rooms, because the furniture was too old. Anyhow, the food was really satisfacting! And the staff was very kind.

A decent place for the money. Only a 100 meters or so to the beach. Has a nice pool. The rooms were ok but not big. Overall a decent choice for the money. The area is however very touristed and the shops cater to that. Not a quiet get away place. Also not very easy to get to from the rail lines. You have to take a bus from near the train station and then a city bus from where that leaves you.

Stayed just one night and no complaints. Excellent location near Piazza Nember but had to park our car 200 meters away in a free but secure open air enclosure. Air con was at extra cost and bathroom was overlooked by adjacent balcony so had to close window for privacy. Very close to the sea, the Stockholm provided free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. There is a small supermarket on the way to the sectioned beach and a good snack bar on it.

The rooms were quite comfortable. The hotel location is excellent. Very glad that it had parking on-site. The only drawback to the hotel was the music coming from across the street that went well past 11 o'clock. The breakfasts were quite good and the serving staff was most friendly!

everything about this hotel is very good ,the rooms were large, bright, modern and airy. The staff were very helpful and efficient. The hotels position was excellant, close to everything. The food in the restaurant was very good.As nothing is perfect there were a number of niggles, one lift for ten floors speaks for itself !seventeen TV channels not one of which was in English !even on the ninth floor there was a good deal of street noise. My only real grievance was being forced into paying my bill in £'s.I was assured I could NOT pay in euros, which at the time I accepted. On my return I now find this is the latest scam in europe ,you do have a legal right to choose the currency in which to pay any bills within the EU, So Brits beware!!

We travelled independently to Lido de Jesolo after having had a three night stay in Venice.Got the ferry to Punta Sabione and the bus to Jesolo-our hotel was signposted from the road and easy to find. The staff were welcoming and as we were the only English guests at the time they tried very hard to speak English to us -which we thought was great! We think that a lot of Jesolo caters for German tourists and this is reflected in the languages that are widely spoken, but we all got by! We had a side sea view and were about a minute from the beach. The hotel beach has plenty of sunbeds so there was no worry about not having a place to lie on the beach. (It would have helped if the weather was sunny all the time-well, we would have been happy for it to be dry!) Meals in the hotel were good-we had to choose what we wanted a day in advance-because of the translations of the menu, we were sometimes surprised! However, there was always something to choose from and we never went hungry! Our waiter was very charming and tried really hard to tell us what the dishes and desserts were-he even produced a book of reference to help him to translate! The bar of the hotel opens onto the street and is a nice place to sit and have a drink. The hotel appears to be situated in a quieter part of the resort which, it must be said, has little charm. We would stay at the Stockholm again (Not sure if we would go back to Jesolo though!)

Hotel was clean (apart from the shower curtain)and staff were friendly enough and the hotel does have its own private sector of the beach which is situated only a stone throw away. However Im afraid thats how far the compliments go. Room was adequately sized but to my amazement there was a lack of a decent balacony - if you can call it that! The balcony in the family room was a mere bay window which compromised of four double glazed windows (which did open fully) forming an arc. The bunk beds for the children were horrendously unsafe...no barrier on the top bunk and the bed itself seemed rather shaky and unstable!! Admittedly the staff were kind enough to dismantle the beds and place them seperately in the room. The food although a lot better than expected from a half board hotel, became slightly repetevive during our stay but still of a decent standard. The swimming pool was acceptable but lacked surrounding space around it which meant those trying to relax on sunbeds became irratated at the children who wanted to have fun and splash in the pool. Can't blame kids for wanting to have fun...after all it is a holiday but equally you can't blame those who have come on holiday to relax wanting peace and quiet! Also, no absolutely no entertainment at the hotel or a well equipped games room!!!! In fact the majority of hotels in this area do not feature any evening entertainment whatsover which is rather bizarre for a resort like this. We noticed one or perhaps two at the most. The location itself is in the quiet sector of Jesolo called Piazza Nember. Those of you looking for a busier part of the resort should look towards Piazza Aurora or Piazza Mazzini. For the record, don't expect your Euros to go very far here as the whole of the Veneto area is very expensive!!

A good hotel just a short footwalk (2 minutes) away from the beach. Staff is friendly and helpful and speak english and german. The hotel is located in a part of Jesolo, which is not too busy and loud in the night. There are a lot of restaurants arround, (most of them, or all of them?? are Pizzerias), where you can eat good and rather cheap. Good bus connections to Punta Sabbioni and from there by ship to Venice. - You can already buy the tickets in the hotel. All in all we can recommend the hotel to everybody.

I've never been a big fan of such compressed tourist locations such as Jesolo, but the worst part was definitely the room. From the pics shown on the website, you could tell it was a bit old fashioned, late 70s early 80s. What I saw when I got inside, was bringing up memories from my time in the airforce: bunk beds, tiled floors, neon lights everywhere. Nice highlight: A/C charge was an additional 4 EUR, which we didn't use but had to suffer from really bad live music from the neighbouring pub instead. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel.

the hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly and all spoke english - the location was on the west side of jesolo, right by the beach but not in the middle of all the nite life, which was only a few mins away Would definetley stay there again No water in the pool till the end of May, which was a shame as the weather was great
