we were upgraded to the suite which was a beautiful, amazing room. The hotel generally felt a little 'tired' and worn down/ empty. We were not in peak season so there were few other guests. Good gym, staff service was very poor. It was also quite far out of town, but right opposite the Sanderman bodega.

I would give this hotel a mark of 11 ( if that were possible ! ) as this was one of the nicest and best run hotels it has ever been our pleasure to have stayed at. Beautiful gardens and pool area. Nothing but praise for all the staff who were the most helpful we have yet to come across. Two minutes walk to the nearby Sandeman winery h.q.....very interesting tour of this establishment. Also, five minutes walk away from the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art (Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre) -again, a most interesting place to visit.

This was a beautiful room in a great place, but the air conditioning did not work as well as it should have. Excellent location to visit the Jerez Riding School.

My wife and I could not have been happier with the Prestige Palmera Plaza. We recently stayed in Jerez for a few days to enjoy the sites and take in a concert and our stay could not have been more comfortable. The rooms were quite large, brand new, clean, and the a/c worked perfectly (generally not the case all European hotels from what I've seen). The neighborhood was quiet with a couple of small cafes within easy walking distance. Best of all was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The folks on the desk were great and the "Ask Me" desk in the lobby was wonderful when it came to setting up tours of the city, visits to museums and wineries (not just in Jerez but all of Andalusia), a dolphin-watching cruise in Tarife, and a cable-car ride in Gibraltar. And all this for less than 100 Euros per night.

First time at the Hotel Prestige Palmera Plaza. Perfectly located; very close to town and the bodegas. Spacious room and lovely pool. Very quiet surroundings. Highly recommended.

The hotel is light, airy and elegant. The staff are a real plus and the 'ask me' desk is great to help with all aspects of your stay. It was very quiet when we visited this Feb, despite there being a Flamenco festival in town. If you're only visiting for a long weekend you might do better to stay at the 4 * Belles Arte Hotel which looked more characterful and a far better location right in the centre. Surriunding area quiet and little in the way of atmosphere -hardly saw anyone (feb 2008) In many respects the so called 5* amenties are supurfluous for a short stay. It was very clean but a bit 'souless' appearing to be newlly built. I'd have preferred 'older'.

Tio Pepe tour was excellent. When I booked online, I added a request that we had a double room - not twin. When we checked in, this information clearly had not been passed to the hotel as they had allocated us a twin room !!!

Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in whilst in Spain. Ideally situated a short walk from the city centre yet in idyllic garden surroundings - and next door to the Real Escuela (ideal for horse lovers!). Lovely pool area. The whole place is immaculate and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back there.

This is the best hotel including Paradores that I have stayed in, in over 10 years of extensive travel in Spain. The food served was also the best. I am going to try their hotel in Roses next July as a result of this stay.
