Hotel is in a run down/older part of Izmir. Walking back to the hotel at night we passed seedy looking bars with prostitutes in the doorways. We were not given good advice by the manager regarding getting to Ephesus. We paid for a very expense personal tour that got terminated early after we did not wish to purchase a Turkish carpet.

The apartment was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. Spotless clean and everything you would need, including cooking facilities if you needed them. and a nice breakfast too. Only downside was the location, as you head down towards the station and the city a few unsavoury establishments 'hostess clubs'. But saying that a taxi to bay was only 10TL.

This hotel is first class. The accom0dations were beautifully appointed and the staff couldn't be more helpful and hospitable. The facilities were clean and spacious and the cooked breakfast was delicious and satisfying. We felt like we were staying in the luxurious home of a good friend and considering the very reasonable cost, it was a tremendous value.
