Tria Hotel - Special Class - Istanbul

Excellent location to explore the cultural heritage of Sultanahmet. You can reach many things within minutes of walk. Free shuttle service from Atatürk, if you stay for a couple of days (which is highly recommendable anyway). Staff always helpful, family style, but no excessive offerings. Relaxing, if you think about the local environment of Sultanahmet. Be aware that rooms have very different noise/views categories. Only few rooms with seaview, which isn't really the domain of this venue. Some rooms to the busy and noisy ("cosy") local tourism street, which offers plenty of restaurants. And most rooms, i.e. standard rooms, with a no view on courtyard, which simply means walls. But, to make it clear, these courtyard rooms are pleasantly quiet, one can sleep with open windows.

Very good located in Sultanahmet. Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast with typical turkish food. Roof terrace with wonderful panoramic view on Marmara sea, Blue mosque and Hagia Sofia. I recommend.

Staying with Tria is a memorable experience for us. Tha hotel is very charming and beautiful and located in a very nice neighborhood of Istanbul. Very close to all the famous monuments; lots of good restaurants at a walking distance. The surrounding is very quite and away from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul.

Despite independent confirmation email from the hotel manager: - No room was available for the first night - At least three other couples/families had the same problem, no room available for first night - No transportation was waiting at the airport. We had to take a taxi.

The hotel wqas close to many of the main sights. All staff were friendly and helpful (e.g. Sener Yigit, Talat, Hasnaq, Mehmet and others). The breakfast was ample and good. I would definitely recommend people stay at the Tria.

Nice hotel. Excellent location. Breakfast OK. Clean rooms, recently and nicely renewed. Clean and big bathroom. But ... the window of our room opened on to a wall. Staff OK. But, the taxi to the airport called by the hotel was 30% more expensive than on arrival.
