Very good position in Sultanamet, easy to walk to all attractions in central Istanbul. Staff very helpful. Rooms very small but clean & comfortable. One of the more expensive places we stayed but you pay for position.

Sultan's Inn mucked up our initial booking so put us up in their adjacent hotel which had a great view of the Sea of Marmara but was noisy from the train below. After two nights we moved back to Sultan's Inn to a quiet room with a great view of the back wall! However. In both hotels the room facilities were good, the breakfasts on the terraces up top were great and the views of the Blue Mosque and Sea of Marmara were terrific. Staff were really good and very helpful and friendly

A very nice hotel particularly due to the quality of the welcoming. The employees are very friendly and always present for any kind of problems. They speak a very good English. One advice: ask for rooms on the 2nd or 3rd floor, better than the ones of the 1srt floor (little and noisy)

The staff at Sultan's Inn has been of great assistance nad has been very friendly. The rooms are small but clean and functional (TV, AC, WC). The roof terrace is a great place for breakfast and the common spaces are cosy and nice. The location is quite nice in a calmer area than most Sutanahmet hotels and just 2 minutes from the Blue Mosque and 1 from the Small Aya Sofia...

Location is great for sight-seeing; hotel inventar appears to have come from 1001-nights; we seem to have been assigned the best room of the hotel, with small balcony, facing the (quiet) street

Loved the breakfasts--food and views. It was amazing how quickly we learned to get around in our sightly larger than bed (a good one) sized room!

We stayed in the newly acquired house (Deniz Konak Hotel). Stuff were very friendly and extremely helpful in solving all kinds of problems. We had a nice room with a fantastic view of the Marmara Sea. Breakfast was wonderful - local style, always fresh. We just loved the roof terrace with its views to the harbour and the Sultanahmet Mosk. Our only problem was the local railway line that passes just behind the building, making nights a bit noisy. Nevertheless, a very good location.

We had stay at the hotel for 4 nights. The first three they give us a small small double room in another structure 100m away from Sulthan's Inn. The sheets weren't clean and the room was very claustrophobic. Last night we passed in Istambul they give us a room in the Sulthan's Inn and was clean and much more confortable then the first one. So be sure to have a room there when you booking.

Hi all, I stayed with my friends - 4 girls - at Sultan's Inn from 10th to 15th of august. The hotel is really nice, rooms are pretty and clean. I ate the best yoghurt I've ever eaten in my life, having breakfast on the hotel's pretty small terrace..just besides the wonderful Blue Mosquee. The staff is good, but not too.."expressive"..At our arrival, the guy told us that we had to stay in his sister's hotel (5 minutes walking..), but after a quiet complaint, things were ok and we stayed at sultan's...MAH! Anyway, I recommend this hotel, is so close to everything you can see in istanbul!!

They say they have computer available for guests, but it was the reception one, the one they use... we stayed 3 night, and other 3 at the end of our journey, as we felt very well there

Although I only stayed one night, the room was really comfortable with an excellent shower/batheroom. Lovely reception area and breakfast terrace on the roof. Would definitely book again. No lift so probably unsuited to older or disabled travellers.

It's located in Sultanahmet area and not very far from touristic sites like Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya. We were three, one couple and one older child. Triple bed room we stayed is not so spacious and has a shower without bathtub. Airport transfer costs 20 euros but is negotiable. The price includes breakfast which is modest.

The Hotel is well located, close to most turistic places. Staff are friendly, in special Mr. Yuseff. Regarding cleaniness, only the towels were changed, the floor or toillets never were tidy up. Breakfast was ok, although could be improved with some hot meals.

We really had a great time at Sultan´s Inn; right from our arrival when we were greeted by Yusuf and his nice colleagues. The staff is very relaxed and warm, and will make your visit to Istanbul even more enjoyable. The hotel is not large --our room was somehow small-- but it is comfortable, clean and specially cozy. Very good price/quality ratio. Breakfast is outstanding, especially if you have it in the upper terrace where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Marmara Sea and the Blue Mosque. The location is very good, as is really walking distance from the historical area and the main attractions. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel and in Istanbul and highly recommend it. I stayed in Istanbul for two days of holiday and this charming little hotel was just perfect for me. It is very well situated, in the heart of the Sultanahmet district, next to the Blue Mosque, but in a very quiet and authentic street with Turkish neighbours.

Sultan's Inn is a nice place to stay in Istanbul. You would have to try very hard to beat the location, its very close to the main sights nd on a quiet street. The rooms are Ok, I've stayed at several hotels in Istanbul and for this price bracket the facilities are excellent. You would do well to make sure you really have a confirmed booking though - I had a confirmation through Venere, but when I arrived the hotel they told me they had sent me an email and as I hadn't replied I did not have a room. As I was travelling prior to my arrival at the hotel I did not see the email. The hotel was then helpful in arranging another place to stay, but luckily before I went over there was a cancellation and I got to stay after all. I think the lesson is that this hotel requires more than just the venere confirmation to ensure you really have a booking but that it is worth the effort

For the first nights we were friendly asked to stay in another hotel (NAZ Wooden Inn House) near to Sultans Inn, which was very nice with very friendly employees. In both hotels we enjoyed the view on the sea and an the Blue Mosque from the room and especially from the terrasse on the roof. 3 Minutes walk to the center of Old-Istanbul (Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque)

Upon arrival I was told I had to pay for a full week in advance. Not mentioned in web page. Then I was told if I wanted to pay by credit card, there would bean 18% surcharge. Noot mentioned on web page. On inquiring around the neighborhood, several hotleiers and inn keepers said they were trying to steal my money with the surcharge, that they ddi not ad a surcharge for credit card use. Avoid this place like the plague. It has nothing to recommend it.

This hotel is situated in the center of the oldest part of the city. We felt very comfartable and safe there. There is a nice view to the Blue Mosque and the Marmar sea from the balcony where we had our breakfasts. The only one trouble was when we arrived - there were some problems with water, and hotel's staff asked us to move to another hotel for two nights (it was situated on the opposite side of the street, just few steps from our hotel, with the same facilities - so it wasn't a big deal for us). Anyway, I would recommend this hotel to stay - nice sight, good service and safety.

Really nice and cheap hotel... Very good situation : very close to major touristic spots (Blue Mosquee, Sta Sophia...) but also close to more popular and lively surroundings. We did enjoy our stay !
