Good place for a long weekend in Istanbul. Bathrooms should be better, but the breakfast is ok. The bed sheets were strange for us.

The sheets and pillows leave much to be desired, the blankets are rough. The bathroom was not clean specially the shower, to use sandals to take the shower and not to take fungi in the feet. The service and the breakfast are very good, the personnel is charming and kind! Best the location closely together of the blue mosque and santa sofia!

Breakfast was alright. The hotel staff tried to accomodate. Excellent service in this respect. As with other meals, to be had in thge hotel, it was non existent. But the nearby restaurants were available. Prices are quite steep as the area offers only tourist prices (and local cuisine can be had at a fraction if you are local!and if you are adventourous to try out places outside the tourist belt). there are many undiscovered jewels and little eating places outside the Grand Bazaar area for example. None these things were mentioned. The hotel is very shabby and run down. (THOUGH CLEANING THE ROOM WAS VERY PROMPT). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for the price we pay. If not for the staff, we would have checked out immediately. Curtains are torn, doors creaky and worn out. Dusty corners not cleaned. Hammam service should be scrapped with substandard service. They tried to charge us price for massage when we had only a scrub! Overall a disspointing experience with the facilities. Great view of the harbour from restaurant balcony which we enjoyed every evening.

overall the perfect place to stay for sightseeing in istanbul. all major spots "just around the corner". frindly and competent staff. the "promotion rooms" are towards a very little courtyard and very noisy. but there are other (more expensive) rooms even with seaview. great is the terrace.

It is important to say we booked a family room. We were aware of the noise caused by trains passing by but after one day we got used to it. We and our two boys (6 and 8) were very happy of our rooms. If you want to take a warm shower, don't stay too long in your bed ! If you want to go to the Taksim's square, don't take the bus T04 (with T for tourist) as advised by the receptionist. Simply take the tramway and the modern funiculars. It is more fun and cheaper !

The hotel is located in a good area which we could walk around the sites of interest in less than 10 minutes. However, the room is a bit too small and room facility such as air condition was down during my stay. Due to the rooms size were varied so some is worth the rate some is not. JP

Hotel is in a great location within walking distance to Blue Mosque and Haghia Sophia. Pickup from airport is very convenient. Friendly courteous staff. Good choice available for buffet breakfast. Nice city view from terrace. Hotel is situated close to a railway line.
