We had invited our three children with husband and wifes on this trip to Istanbul. Our children have never visited the city before but my wife and I have been there several times and we love Turkey and Istanbul. We were very pleased with our stay and will surely come back, alone or with friends. In the hotel my wife together with the women in the family apreciated very much the hamman and the massage in the spa region.

VISITAMOS ESTAMBUL DURANTE NUESTRA LUNA DE MIEL Y QUEDAMOS ENAMORADOS DE ESTA CIUDAD. LA UBICACION DEL HOTEL APORTO MUCHO A ESTO, YA QUE COMO LO INDICA EN ESTA PAGINA, ESTABAMOS A POCAS CUADRAS DE LOS PRINCIPALES ATRACTIVOS DE ESTAMBUL, MEZQUITAS, BAZARES, CUERNO DE ORO, Y PUDIMOS DISFRUTAR NUESTRA ESTADIA AL MAXIMO AL PODER RECORRER LA ZONA TANTO DE DIA COMO DE NOCHE. AL ESTAR EL HOTEL UBICADO SOBRE UNA AVENIDA CON MUCHO MOVIMIENTO COMERCIAL TODO EL DIA, RESTAURANTES Y COMERCIOS DE TODO TIPO, ERA MUY SEGURO CAMINAR POR SUS CALLES. TAMBIEN ESTABA MUY BIEN COMUNICADO POR MEDIOS DE TRANSORTE, POR LA PUERTA DEL HOTEL PASA EL TRANVIA QUE PERMITE COMUNICAR DISTINTOS PUNTOS IMPORTANTES COMO LA TORRE GALATA O EL AEROPUERTO POR MENCIONAR ALGUNOS. LA HABITACION ESTABA MUY BIEN, COINCIDIA EXACTAMENTE CON LAS FOTOS PUBLICADAS, Y AL ESTAR SOBRE LA ESQUINA TENIAMOS UNA BONITA VISTA A LA AVENIDA. UN POCO CRITICABLE PUEDE SER SU TAMAÑO, ERA UN POCO PEQUEÑA. EL OTRO COMENTARIO UN POCO NEGATIVO PUEDE SER RESPECTO AL DESAYUNO, ESPERABAMOS ALGO MEJOR, MAS VARIEDAD DE SALADOS Y POR SOBRE TODO LOS DULCES ERAN POBRISIMOS, CASI NO RECUERDO SI HABIA ALGUNO...TAMPOCO NOS PARECIA BIEN QUE COBRARAN LOS JUGOS NATURALES POR SEPARADO. POR LO DEMAS, TODO EXCELENTE, SIN DUDA NOS HEMOS QUEDADO CON MUCHAS GANAS DE REGRESAR, SEGUIR CONOCIENDO ESTA HERMOSA CIUDAD Y VOLVER A VISITAR EL HOTEL PIERRE LOTI.

The hospitality of the hotel staff was superb...especially since I sprained my ankle on the last day in Istanbul, the staff were most helpful...hotel was walking distance to Topkapi Palace and close to the trolley. Area of the hotel felt very safe. The price was fair.

First time stayed at Pierre Loti. Hotel rooms were smaller than expected and staff didn't fully understand our request for 2 double rooms, despite booking these on the internet 3 weeks prior to stay. Beds were very hard and only 1 pillow per person provided. Very heavy bed covering or duvet with no cover. Unable to book a massage on the day requested, despite making enquiries first thing in the morning.

Wonderful location, lovely staff, very calm, ok breakfast. The prebooked transfer to and from the airport worked very well and so did our booking of sightseeingtours. Wonderful turkish bath and very close to many restaurants The top bar in the hotel was gordegous, especially in the evening with all the historic buildings and sights in front of you. The rooms were small with just one chair and very little space for your suitcases. In spite of that we can highly recommend the hotel.

We stayed at Pierre Loti in the beginning of January. On the whole the hotel is very nice and a good value for money. It is very well located which makes it easy to get to main attractions either on foot or by transport. The roof bar offers a stunning view of Istanbul and the sea on a clear day. The staff was friendly and helpful. There's a free Internet point at the lobby. As for the room - it was soundproof though we had window looking at the tram line. The room (DBL) was not very spacious. Maybe you will be bothered that a double bed has one blanket. There was only one chair which is also not very comfortable for 2 people. And there was absolutely no way to hang your coats, hats, scarves etc. in the room. For a rainy winter it is not very comfortable too. But despite that - the hotel is good. I would definitely recommend using it.

It's a wonderful hotel in Istanbul, within a 5-minutes walking distance of the most important square in Istanbul- Sultanahmet! It has also a great rooftop terrasse from where you can see all Istanbul, from Europe to Asia, straight of Bosphorus, Marmara Sea. the Golden Horn and most of the major sights! It has a bar there and the breakfast room is just on the floor below offering also nice views. Staff was very welcoming and warm. The only downsize was some smell from the bathroom and the carpet rugs seem a little bit used in not very big rooms. But all in all is a great value close to the main atttractions! I will stay there again when I return to Istanbul!!

Hotel Pierre Loti was in a perfect location for Istanbul tourists wanting to be in the middle of the most historical and fascinating area of the city. It was walking distance from the top attractions and right near the metro station for easy access to other areas of the city. Note that although the room was not spacious it was totally adequate. It was average for the size of non-American hotels.

This was a wonderful hotel. We enjoyed the turkish bath offered in the spa. Much better than one that we had later at a public bath house. Staff was very friendly and they had a nice breakfast. Good view from our rooms and the breakfast terrace. Good position to see everything there is to see in Istanbul. I would absolutely stay here again.

I was unlucky with the date because there was a construction on the roof and I booked room on the 4th floor(the highest level) and the first night was extremly noisy. I noticed it to staff and they offered me a free night in a close hotel. I must say the staff did all they can do to make our stay more comfortable. Thanks

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Most spoke some English. The room was clean and comfortable (but very small!). The location is good for many of the best known sites and the proximity to the tram route is very convenient. The day we arrived we were told that our room was not ready due to problems with the bathroom. We had to spend the first night in another hotel on the same street. This hotel was fine (appeared to be of similar quality). During our stay the breakfast area was moved from the top floor to the bar while building works were carried out. As the builders were working directly above our room we heard them very clearly. This was ok during the day but not when they were working until well after midnight, sawing and hammering. If it had not been our last night we would have asked for a room on another floor or left the hotel completely. My partner said it was the worst hotel she had ever stayed in for noise. This was mainly due to the night-time building works and I am sure most guests will not suffer this sort of problem in future. However it should also be noted that the hotel is on a tram route which starts up before 6am so if you are sensitive to street noise and have a room at that side of the hotel you may want to take some good ear plugs. The room was very small - two beds, a bathroom, one small cupboard and two bedside units filled the space so there was nowhere to put the suitcases - unless you want to risk tripping over them in the night. The curtains were not wide enough to block out the light which can be a problem if you are sensitive to light first thing in the morning.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and the service, especially from front office staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to major tourist features (Grand Bizzare, Blue Mosque etc) Room was well appointed, clean and well airconditioned. Highy recommended.

The atention from employees were excellent, the facilites for tours are very easy, the location in the city is fabulous because is near at main places, the only problem is the rooms, are very smalls for three people, but for a couple is good, all the rooms are the same size. We were 3 persons and we were very happy for the atention.Istanbul is very nice.

The location is great, just a few minutes walk to the Topkapi, the Blue Mosque and the main historical sights. The nearby tram stop makes it very convenient to travel to other parts of the city. Our triple room was well appointed and comfortable but a bit cramped... Breakfast was really good but having to pay extra for an omlette or fresh juice came as a bit of a shock. The roof "terrace", accessible from the breakfast room, has marvellous views of the bosphorus. The reception staff was friendly and helpful on arrival but surprisingly rude at check-out!

I slept in most mornings so didn't have breakfast. The mexican restaurant next door is very convenient - Food is delicious and staff very friendly. The location of this hotel is perfect to see all the sights etc. Its worth asking for a corner room on a high floor - the view of the sunset is amazing. The only negative is one night I had to put up with the sound of a jack-hammer for 3 hours! (1am-4am!)

The hotel is in a very very good position, in the most characteristic quarter, near main places to visit and near the tram stop. I strongly recommend. Just the triple room is definetely very small, it's the only week point for me.

Quietness of room related to tram track works being carried out at night. They were extremely loud and went on from midnight to the early hours of the morning. his would probably be eliminated when tram track works are completed. Breakfast was only so so. Great location for visit to the main sights of Istanbul, walking distance to Blue Mosque, etc. Also numeous restaurants very close to hotal.

It´s a very well located hotel, most of interesting points in a walk distance. Rooms are small but very well equiped, if you are a big person may be you could have some trouble in the toilet, that was not our case, but this comment could be usefull for someone.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Pierre Loti. The rooms were clean and functional, the staff friendly and helpful (they speak English well) and the location (walking distance to the Aya Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and the covered bazaar) was excellent. Breakfast was included and was good. Do note if you are driving your own car that parking is next to impossible. Also that the hotel has no pool or restaurant. There are plenty of eating options, though, within easy walking distance. The hotel offers a free airport pickup if you book through their website; the cost is 30 euros otherwise. Highly recommended.

The location and the staff at the Pierre Loti were fantastic. Walking distance to the Blue Mosque, The Grand Bazaar, the Cagaloglu Hamman, Cistern, Topkapi Palace. Also meters from the tram which would take you anywhere farther than that. The rooms may be on the small side but were clean and sophisticated and no one should spend too much time in their hotel room in beautiful Istanbul. Breakfast was fantastic and professionally done. We would highly recommend and stay there again. We were very very pleased to have found this hotel on venere and booked it with ease.
