Pera Tulip Hotel - Istanbul

Great location! staff very pleasant, helpful and professional early shift as well as late shift.... one regret ,spa and pool open at 10am,at that time you already want to hit the streets of a fabulous city,you want to have already stretched your body in pool because you will do a lot of walking uphill......breakfast fun , buffet style as in most hotels.... Great ,fab massage at hotel with Fatih....Galata tower top visit a must! Istanbul modern museum (with lunch on Bosphore restaurant) getting lots on small side street a pleasure...

A welcoming hotel with excellent wellness facilities.Good breakfast service and friendly staff. Within the vicinity of a number of good restaurants.Within walking distance to Galata Tower and Bridge.

I'm a writer and stayed in the Pera Tulip for five weeks. Needless to say, a stay of this length gave me a chance to "study" the Pera in depth, nor would I have stayed that long if I had found the hotel anything less than enjoyable and well-priced. The staff, almost without exception, were so professional yet genuinely warm and caring that I felt I was taking a course in manners and decorum from them! They helped me learn Turkish and became my friends. The rooms are handsome - my view was terrific (a slice of the Golden Horn), a decent breakfast is included and there is a functioning and beautiful hammam in the basement. The Shishane metro stop is a block away, the Galata tower three. One can cross Refik Saydam Cadessi in be in a neighborhood as different from Istiklal Cadessi as The Bronx is from Wall Street. I can't wait to go back.

Great location! Nice modern rooms with 32'' TV, free WiFi, very nice and clean bathrooms, and a great Breakfast. Sauna, pool and Turkish hamam for free to all guests.

I booked trough venera.com and stayed at the Pera Tulip hotel for 20 days during the period July 21 to August 10, 2009. I am very satisfied with the excellent service and condition of the hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect and 3 miniutes walk from the Istiklal street. Thanks to the Mr. Abdullah Mutlu the front desk Manager and the rest of the staff whoo made our stay enjoyable. Thanks also to Venera.com for itsexcellent service.

Reception offered a 5TL map without informing us of a free map they have available. Also did not inform us of the free breakfast. Had a discrepancy with the pricing (stated on their website) that was not resolved until the last night of our stay.

L'hotel è molto carino e in ottima posizione. Alla sera basta fare due passi per immergersi nelle vie brulicanti di ristoranti e pub. La camera era carina ma non tanto grande. Poco spaziosi anche la sala colazioni, la sauna e l'hammam ma comunque tutti molto puliti e ben tenuti.

We got a very small room.It was impossible to move there.no place for a suitcase. After negotiations we got another room much larger but we paid 600 euro instead of 457 in reservation. Breakfast was dull and needs improvment. Bathroom not large enough My comments relats to the more expensive room.

It was my second time in Istanbul, and I decided that beyoglu was a much better area to stay. The Pera tulip has surely been the best option I could choose.
