Kupeli Palace Hotel - Istanbul

It was the first time for us in Istanbul, the hotel was perfect. the staff very professional, young and nice. they offer us coffee, they gave us all the indication about the monuments in the city, the trasportation, the services, ecc the hotel is in a quiet place,where all the house are built in wooden, small shop and a big playground garden...near the little Santa Sophia mosquee.room it was the first time for us in Istanbul, the hotel was perfect. the staff very professional, young and nice. they offer us coffee, they gave us all the indication about the monuments in the city, the trasportation, the services, ecc the hotel is in a quiet place,where all the house are built in wooden, small shop and a big playground garden...near the little Santa Sophia mosquee.Small room but completly new, clened and with all conforts: frigobar, A/C conditioning, phon, tv, ecc Good price for a 4 stars!

You get alot for Your money. Our room was fantastic (regular double rooom with extra bed for 6 year old); 5th floor with panorama view over the old part of Istanbul with the Blue Moske and Aya Sophia. Bathroom was super with jaccuzi and panorama view, clean and fresh. The floor in the room was a little untidy under the bed and in the corners, but the rest was good. Breakfast was poor, not fresh vegetables every day (nor the kitchen was clean) and one day we had to wait long for breakfast since the waiter overslept and then was very nonchalant. The other staff was great! No elevator, but the staff helped carry the child when needed. Very friendly and helpful. The surroundings was good, close to a playground, park and taxi. Also close to all tourist attractions such as the Blue Moske, Aya Sophia and the Basilica cistern! Far from the exclusive area in the northern part with all conference hotels where we went almost every day, with taxi it cost 20 turkish lire one way. Overall I would absolutley recommend this hotel.

Staff were helpful and the breakfast was quite a good buffet but the room was really tiny and the fittings in the room and on the landing were worn. Smell of smoking in the room although we did not specifically ask for non-smoking, we were not asked either and so if you stay here as a non-smoker, remember to ask the question. On the positive side the bathroom (which seemed to take up all the rest of the room except for the bed)did work properly.

Séjour très agréable au sidera Hôtel Palace mais raccourci pour des raisons de santé ce qui nous a fait constater la gentillesse, la compétence du personnel, et surtout son extrême honnêteté (ils ont insisté pour nous rembourser les nuits non passées à l'hôtel).

I would like to tell special thanks to Murat, Nuray and Gulnara, and Emre for their hospitableness. They kindly welcomed us and made our stay be even nicer. Service provided by them was very great, and also Sidera Palace is absolutely a safe place to stay and it has a very friendly staff and high quality service. I with high confidence recommend this hotel.
