Kent Hotel Istanbul - Istanbul

The rooms were very nice and the staff friendly and competent. Well located for the Blue Mosque and other tourist attractions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Allstar Kent. The rooms were very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Breakfast was good - with plenty of things to choose from. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better - it was just a 5 min straight walk down the road to the Grand Bazaar and 10 mins straight down the road to the Ayia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The road its located on is busy and noisy and would only be a problem if you wanted to open the window.

The booking included 2 double rooms, breakfast and welcome drink. The welcome drink was not offered. We had to ask for it twice.

The staff were not able to speak English very well,so it was hard to communicate with them.but all over i can rate it 7.5 to 8

Our experience was very good, all our expectations were met. excellent hotel for visiting istanbul, can recommend it.

Pleasant hotel central location in old town helpful staff and good breakfast. I stayed in one of the updated rooms.

The hotel is located right in the heart of hystorical Istanbul, only 10 walking minutes away from the Grand Bazaar, 15-20 minutes from Agija Sofia or the Blue Mosque. The quality/price ratio is excellent (but only if you book through Venere; if you book at the reception or directly on the hotel website, the prices are significantly higher). Rooms are spacious, clean, beds are really comfortable (the only better bed I ever had was in Conrad Bali from Bali-Indonesia). Only minuses: - TV channels available in the room were too few international (only BBC, CNN in English and TV5 in French). - BREAKFAST - the reception tells you breakfast CAN be served between 7 and 11, you expect 5 past 7 or 5 to 11 the tables to be full. We went one day at 10:20, and waiters were already cleaning the tables. Next day, we left at 7:20 from the hotel and in the Restaurant (which we could see from downstairs) there was no movement, not even light on. Otherwise, the breakfast was just fine (the one day we managed to get there on time), as you expect it to be in Turkey.

This hotel is excellent! I have been to many hotels in Turkey, USA and around the world, and I can clearly say that this is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They explained everything perfectly. The room was recently renovated with very comfy beds, new flat screen T.V., very stylish bathroom fixtures and minimalist furniture with monochromatic tones. The location was awesome! It is in Beyazit district, right across the Istanbul University's School of Literature designed by Sedad Hakki Eldem. There is a tram stop right next to the hotel as well as a taxi stop. It is in walking distance to Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque (10-15 mins). Our room had some good windows, so despite its central location, we did not have any noise problem. The breakfast was outstanding. It included a variety of fruits and croissant types. The location of the hotel made the trip to the Ataturk International Airport much easier (35-40 mins). You can also take a cab from here to Taksim or Ortakoy quite easily. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
