Hotel Sisli definitely exceeded my expectations and based on the price of the room, I think it was an excellent deal. The breakfast was great, the staff were very helpful and the location was great being downtown. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Istanbul.

The hotel is in a perfect location for those who want to avoid crowds of tourists and stay in a good,quiet area.It's within walking distance to high-fashion streets in Sisli and very close to the metro stop.Rooms are very basic,don't expect much, but correspond with the price and for me it was ok. Very good breakfast!!Hotel staff is very friendly and I was feeling good there. Recommended for everyone who wants to stay in decent,non-expensive hotel and see something more than Grand Bazaar and Blue Mosque in this city.

Location is excellent. As a Turkish citizen, I can recommend this hotel location as the area is safe for a foreigner. Easy access to city center, you can reach Taksim (city center) by taxi or by metro. I used taxi by only 8 Ytl = 4 Euros. I can recommend this hotel both for female or male single trips because of the location, also for business trips. But the rooms are not excellent for a romantic stay. If you compare to a European hotel, it is quite good. But if you consider that Turkey has a higher class hotel standards than Europe, you can prefer another one for a romantic stay. Also, keep in mind that price was reasonable, breakfast hall is very limited but breakfast itself was satisfactory.

the hotel is nice cuz the rooms are clean enough, the bathrooms were recently renovated and the price is low. however, the rooms are rather small and inconvenient - a lamp was hanging right above the pillows so we'd hit it like 20 times per night. the hotel is not the best option for those interested in sultanahmet area. prepare to spend 13 bucks for a cab or 3.4 bucks for public transportation one way. still, the area looks safe and clean and is definitely quiet. the richest neighborhood nisantasi with upscale clubs and boutiques is nearby.
