Great service from the moment we walked in! We received a very helpful & warm welcome from 'Arzu' at the reception desk - she even gave us a choice between two rooms! All the staff were extremely helpful and tended to our every request, whether that was at breakfast, in the leisure centre or anything to do with room service. They always gave us tips and directions to eating places of our taste; like Pizza hut & Domino's Pizza & helped improve our knowledge of transport links like the Tramway & City Buses. We stayed in a twin room on the 3rd floor (No. 302) the lift was right outside and was really quiet. The room was in fantastic order and the en-suite was in top condition; with everything working as new! The shower was lovely & warm. The room had an LCD tv (with BBC World service), air con and all the nice extras! Our room had fantastic signal strength to the free Hi-speed wireless internet service; which was a life saver during the Iceland Volcano disaster. It allowed us to keep in touch with all airline, airport and embassy websites at any time of the day or night - avoiding huge phone call bills to these establishments from a hotel phone! Our laptop was a life-saver and is a ‘must-take’ item. The roof terrace was a popular spot for us twice a day – once at midday and then late at night! It had a wooden swing which was so relaxing we often fell asleep! With uninterrupted 360 degree views of Istanbul, it definitely is one of the tallest Hotels in the area. The indoor fitness & leisure centre had all the new gym equipment and great staff to help you out. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna & turkish baths were awesome and immaculately clean – like they were brand new! My 4 year old daughter & I used the swimming pool every single day – which is made available to guests from 12 to 6pm.

This was a very nice property in an excellent location. The hotel was close to the Grand Bazaar and only about a 15 minutes walk to most of the major attractions like the Blue Mosque as well as some very nice restaurant. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was pleasant. The property also has an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and fitness area that may be used at no additional cost up until 6:00 p.m. After that they charge a small fee, which I did not like. They also offer Massage services, again at a reasonable price. Overall a very nice hotel to stay at when visiting Istanbul.

Excellent location, close to major historical sites (15 min. walking from Sultanhammet - Topkapi), and quite enough for resting after exciting exploring days. Tram is also 5 min walking only from the hotel, very convenient to reach more distant tourist destination in Istanbul (Galata Tower, Taksim). Excellent breakfast, better served on the roof terrace during summer period. Good spa facilities in the basement, even if I do not understand why clients of the hotel have to pay for using them after 18.00 PM...

We stayed at the Mosaic before the beginning of a Gate I Tour and then the first night of the tour. The ambiance of the lobby is most appealing. THe room was comfortable and very clean. THe beds were nice and firm and more than enough pillows were given. The bathroom was spacious and attractive. The all you can eat breakfast was made up of coldcuts, 3 or 4 types of yogurts, greens and the makings for a salad, cut up hotdogs (they call sausage), hard boiled eggs, and a wonderful cheese and potato casserole. The breakfast dining room was very pleasant. We had a buffet dinner at the hotel and there were several choices all of which were very good. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would stay there again on our next trip to Istanbu.

So many things were wrong with my stay at the Mosaic Hotel. 1. Incompetant Staff 2. Small room even when booking a suite 3. Poor breakfast selection 4. location not ideal 5. Thin walls mean little sound proof in rooms 6. Hotel photographs are misleading 7. Very expensive for what you get! 8. Hotel staff in cooperation with expensive taxi drivers rip-off tourists daily. 9. Little English is spoken by hotel staff 10. One good thing -Mosaic Hotel is very clean

The room was too small, not the same as showed in the pictures, with no great possibility to clear the air because the window was internal.
