Hotel Kupeli - Istanbul

Interior rooms are tiny -- can't walk around the bed and there's little space for luggage. Location is ultra-convenient, but only if you're fit enough to walk two blocks up a very steep hill to public transit. Breakfast is tasty and generous and staff are very nice.

hotel kupeli's location was perfect. the tram, the historical sites (blue mosque, bascilla cistern, hagia sohia), cafes and restaurants were all a 5 minute walk away. the staff at Hoel Kupeli Ozgur, Turgai, Ismail and the housekeeping ladies ensure you have a comfortable stay. Special mention of Ozgur ( the concierge) he would help us plan our day's activities and travel plans to other parts of the city. Hotel kupeli's rooms are adequate enough (very clean and tidy rooms) for a short stay and are surrounded by many eating outlets to ensure that you have a perfect holiday. Hotel Kupeli is a delightful pace and i will defiantely return to this hotel when i visit Istanbul again.

As of a simple, non-demanding, long weekend for leisure, the facility suited me fine. Fair walking distance (10-min) to several city highlights. Standard room was confirmed to be not very spacious, but far from smtg one wouldn't fit in (bath OK)! Other than the helpful/corteous young staff, i'd like to praise the doable breakfast diversity. And the tasty turkish delights available! In a global (worldwide) perspective, rates for Istanbul @ such kind of facilities are somewhat unfit (but then again, nothing unbearable).

Our first room, a triple, was very small and not great for 3 adults; however, once the staff saw thatbiur daughter was not a child, they arranged to put us in a suite. The suite was spacious and very comfortable, and the price was excellent. A typical Turkish Breakfast was included in the pleasant 6th flooring dining area. It was fresh, varied, and delicious. The location was stupendous as a home base for sightseeing, shopping, and access to Istanbul University where I attended a conference on two of our seven days. Of course, we are walkers, so the hills and cobblestones that are typical of the city did not bother us. The staff was friendly, helpful and generous. Istanbul is a noisy city at niqht, but we adjusted quickly and slept well in this welcoming little hotel.

Close to city center, close to big bazaar, close to tram station. Very kind and polite staff. Reccomended !

We very much appreciated the hotel location (within a walking distance from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and public transport), the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff (especially the night receptionist, Mr. Mahir). However, the rooms were pretty small (we spend overall 6 nights in three different rooms, in the first room the distance between the door and the bed was approximately 1 meter) and the furniture was not in such a good shape. The safes were not bolted (removable).

KUPELI HOTEL is a very good hotel with a team competent and welcoming. Room very clean and again every day. the hotel is close to the tram (2mn) and 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, Saint Sophia, Topkapi Palace and Gulhane Park. And one can dine very well in front of the restaurant TANDIRISTANBUL. The Hotel is worth more than the notes we give. Thank you to Bekir, Soner SEKA, and Akif.

The hotel's internet service was not good. Kept dropping off. This place is not gay friendly. My partner met me the final night to stay with me there. Prior to that I had been staying alone. The hotel had a big shock when my partner arrived and they said it was not allowed because I only had one bed. After a little discussing they let it pass but it was not an easy feeling and I would not recommend this place to a gay couple.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Kupeli. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are great for the price. Don't take the tours offered by the Hotel. Go directly to destination and take a tour there.

10 mins walk to aya sofia. Attentive and helpful staff, speaking reasonably good English. Excellent price/quality ratio, super clean rooms, good air-conditioning, strong wireless, comfortable beds. Standard rooms are relatively but not excessively small. Some noise may happen if neighbors are noisy.
