I made a reservation for two nights through the Venere website. But, because I did not want to move from a place to another, I bargained with the manager and received a good price to stay 8 more days. All staff and employees were helpful and advising. I very much like the location of the hotel. It is nearly close to everything you need for a short stay in Istanbul. You only need little or sometimes no transportation to get to tourist places.

Actually, I was trying to contact Venere.com to complaint and seek compensation. During booking it was shown that the Hotel is *** but actually it is a ** Hotel. The room was told a tripple room actually it was just a double room with a sofa bed, the sofa bed was not at all suitable for sleeping as the bed surface was not plain, I never had a good sleep. First night there was no duvet and all their duvet were at cleaning service. Toilets were very bad condition, bath was fractured and wall damped/unhealthy. Breakfast was poor quality. In the first whole night a TV was on in the next room and in other night there was a party at 5th floor (restaurant) until 1am with loud speakers used for singing and it was loud enough to disturb neighbouring 500m area. I want my money refund for stating a 2-star hotel a 3-star hotel.

we stayed in the double room with two sepearted beds, the rooms was very-very small. the furniture is old, even in the bathroom. the shower is old and nearly not existing - they did not provide with normal shower installation-just smth like a "hole" in the bathroom with shower tube. the breakfast is included in the price but it is poor in choice and everyday is the same menu (absolutely every day while our stay of 7 days there). the staff is nice in terms of welcoming, but they in fact will not solve your main problems with the room. all room are of the same "quality" in the hotel. overall, on their website it is indicated as 3 star hotel. but only in the hotel you will learn that it is hardly a 2 star hotel...

The hotel didn't want that I pay with my credit card. He didn't want applicate the reduction obtain with venere.com.

Eris hotel is not a bad hotel ; it is old style, and for the moment has a problem with the location just beside heavy work at Sirkeci train station. It is a bit overpriced.
