I stayed in Istanbul with my daughter for 7 nights.The staff at the hotel is very kind and friendly, they help you in any problem. The location in great and you have two beautiful views from the terrace (Blue Mosque and the Marmara Sea). The breakfast was excellent, with a lot of dishes. The rooms are very clean and they change the laundry every day. I will definitely stay at Deniz Houses if I return to Istanbul! I felt like home there! Congratulations, Deniz Houses!

Good value for money. Location is good near the main attractions in Sultanahmet. Good functional backpackers hotel. Nice view from Terrace ( breakfast).

Pros: great location, price, staff, breakfast, rooms Cons: None that I can think of right now.

We had a great stay at this hotel - the staff were helpful and friendly, and the location in Sultanahmet is terrific - there's a view of the Blue Mosque from the breakfast terrace on one side, and the ocean on the other. All the major sights are within a few minutes walking distance, including the nearby market. It was a little bit noisy because it's right on the train line, but nothing that kept us awake at night really. The directions on how to get there are not very good - once we got to Sultanahmet tram stop we asked the tourist information guy and still wandered around for 20 minutes trying to find it. It's worth it when you do though, and I highly recommend a stay here.

the hotel owner was not willing to give me the Venere rate until I pulled out my PC and showed him the e-mail confirmation. this was embarrasing bud Kinney

hello Venere You sent me a questonnaire but they asked me password and user id that I do not have anyway back to my impression of the hotel I used : Property Name: Deniz Konak Hotel IHR Reservation Number: 4559700 Reservation Made On: Nov 23 2007 2:57AM Check-in: Nov 25 2007 12:00AM Check-out: Nov 30 2007 12:00AM 1) we were agreed to be pick up from the airport, nobody in sight and then ,they say they forgot ! 2) they never move a cover or the sheet of a bed in the 5 days 3) they clean the bathroom loosing ,long dark hair all around and this I tell you ...... was the worse thing 4) we paied with 10% discount for cash and he did not have the money to get back , so we did not see a cent anymore 5) the day we check out it was 6.45 a sleeping boy ... kept us there for 35 minutes , doing at least 5 phone calls before to let us go with a taxi and not like promised with hotel shuttle so now you will say........ what the hell you want for 30 dollars !!!!!!!!! you wanted the concern ! !!
