Hotel Best Point - Istanbul

We stayed for 4 nights of our holiday. Brilliant position. Friendly staff, though our initial welcome was too effusive: we were tired and just wanted to chill out. Nice breakfast with great view - but needed 4 floors steep climb.

This was our first visit to Istanbul and it meant a lot to have been greeted by the owener of Best Point upon arrival. Fati was incredibly helpful, gracious and welcoming. The staff as a whole was amazing, tending to our every need and answering all questions with pleasure and the best information. We felt right at home at Best Point and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Istanbul and staying in Sultanahmet.

The area is similar to the Latin Quarter in Paris. So if you are a fan of the 5th and 6th arrondissement you will like this area. But compared to the Latin quarter at the Best Point, the service and personal service was better.Genuine and considerate people operate the hotel Good location, Nice rooms for the money - I recommend having breakfast on the roof every day you are there.

Nice little hotel very near the centre. nice rom for breakfast but very poor quality of food. people very friendly and helpfull. little room and little bathroom but cosy.

Clean, just in the center of Istanbul and very comfy

Best Point is a great choice for those with a moderate budget who want to stay in the old town.The location is perfect, breakfast is generous and the staff are incredibly helpful and go to great lenghs to make sure that you enjoy your stay in Istanbul. They worked with me to create an interesting and varied itinerary that could be accomplished in a relatively short time and then made the bookings. I stayed in the Blue Mosque Suite which does actually look over the Blue Mosque.... a beautiful site especially at nightr when it is illuminated. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to return.

Our room was too small and we could hear everything through the door. Than we missed a second chair and a trash. In TV we coulld not find any European Channel.

This hotel is well located but if you have problem getting up the stairs there is no elevator.Transportation arranged via the hotel reception is much more expensive than a cab ride for the same distance. Dont reserved a room at the lower level as it is extremely noisy. Breakfast buffet very good.

We came for holidays and to celebrate my parents in law anniversary/ It was the first time to the hotel and we have to say that everything was perfect. the hotel is really smart and very close to the old and important site of Istanbul. thank you to the person working to the hotel

It was our first visit to Istanbul. I have to say that we really enjoyed our trip mostly thanks to the hotel best point and its professional, kind and patient stuff. When we arrived after a long flight we were welcomed with a nice tea and turkish sweats. And it was not all. We got in to the room and ohhhhh!!! I can`t imagine how smart you have to be if you want to combine all modern facilities with the decoration in the turkish style...And our room covered it all. After this we were surpirised more when we got to the terrace with the magnificent view of the Blue mosque. Apart from the beauty of the hotel we also enjoyed other tour services (including guided tours and etc.) with the discount prices. A special note about hotel stuff: I have stayed in many hotels around the world. But I have to say that I was really surprised with the hospitality and kindness of the people who work at the best point. It was a real honest kindness that you are really rare to find in this modern world. Fatih, Umit, Jack (Gokhan, Osmonhan) and all others were very helpful and always ready to help. I would like to say that I felt myself at this hotel like in my home away from home. I would like to come back one day and definately recommend this hotel for all the people who really want to enjoy their time in Istanbul.

Very good price for the quality

A modest hotel but which was clean and confortable. The area is noisy but the soundproofing of the windows was effecient (impossible to sleep with the window's open!). The staff were friend and helpful to a point where it was almost embarassing. They were very knowlegeable about the city and the surroundings and always ready to organise a tour, book a restaurant or simply give advice.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Best Point. We arrived at the hotel at 5am way before check in time exhausted, tired and hungry. The hotel staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The greeting we recieved was friendly and accomodating. The service and hospitality was fantastic. Great location. Would definatly return to this hotel on our next stay and recommend it to other travelers to istanbul.

My wife, son and I had a very good stay at the Best Point Hotel.The service and breakfast was very good,with a great variety of food to choose from. Friendly staff, clean and spacoius room.I could not be more satisfied with the hotel. The owner is always there and was really helpful with info and tips.

Excellent hotel ! Fahti and his staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfasts (including home made omelettes) are fabulous and can be taken in the downstairs restaurant or on the roof. The rooms are small but very functional and quite luxurious. Perfect location for seeing the main sites of Istanbul. Highly recommended.

We stayed in 5 different hotels in Turkey and this ranks as one of the top ones. The hotel was very nicely decorated. The young staff all spoke English and was very responsive, attentive, and professional. There was a large seection of breakfast items and you can also order a fresh omlette at no additional cost. WiFi worked fine in our room. The only issue we had was that we had the room on the lobby level and could hear people checking in late at night. It would be helpful if the staff asks the guests to speak at a lower voice at night while at the lobby.

I surely recommend this hotel, for its location, for its cleanliness and for its welcoming. We appreciated its hospitality and its wonderful view from terrace at breakfast. His owner Fatih cares so much about his guests and he is always ready to give all information you need. The hotel is very near to historic centre where you can find the 2 mosques ( Blue and Ayasophia) and sultan's palace. Do not miss the opportunity to stay in this little but very confortable hotel. The room was not large, but every details was perfect. A place to go back

A great boutique hotel with excellent staff

The welcome to the hotel was very friendly. Turkish tea was served and we got a feeling we just arrived to visit our friends. During our stay all the personnel was very kind and helpful giving us good hints for places to visit, restaurants to have lunch or dinner etc. Excellent breakfast. The main tourist attractions (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi) were just 2 - 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The room was not very spacy but clean and everything we needed (no luxury)was available. The transfer service from the Atatürk airport to the hotel in an airconditioned spacy car was very convenient. We really recommend it, especially for elderly people like we are.

Para que unas vacaciones sean inolvidables, una de las claves de éxito está en elegir un buen hotel… lo que no está muchas veces relacionado con escoger el hotel más caro!... La elección del Hotel Best Point hizo que nuestra escapada a Estambul fuera perfecta!. Hotel pequeño (13 habitaciones) totalmente reformado, tres plantas, sin ascensor, con una situación privilegiada, en Sultanahmet, la zona antigua y más interesante de Estambul, a escasos 5 minutos caminando de la Mezquita Azul, Santa Sofía,… con habitaciones de tamaño suficiente para nuestro gusto, muy tranquilas, y una limpieza extraordinaria, que invitan al descanso después de estar todo el día visitando esta fascinante ciudad… la vida del turista es muy dura! :-) ... Wi-fi gratis, desayuno muy completo. Pero lo más importante de este hotel, está en la profesionalidad de su personal, que hacen que en todo momento te sientas como en casa… Un hotel que recomendaría a todo el mundo y al que volveré sin duda en mi próxima visita a Estambul! Very nice and cozy place, very responsive and friendly staff.. if you have question they have right answer ;) if you have some problem they have excellent decision ;) ...next time I'll stay only at Best Point!! Good Luck and See You!!! :)

We stayed at the blue mosque suite. The room was not big (as most of the Istanbul hotels tend to be), but the view from the terrace was very nice, with the blue mosque. Location of hotel is suitable for travelling and sight seeing, close to the station of the tram. The hospitality of the staff was excellent, helping us at all times. The brakfast was served on the B1 floor. Since it was prety cold when we stayed, we could't eat out at the roof balcony, but we could go out on the roof balcony to enjoy the sea side view and the blue mosque view anyways.
