Grand Yavuz Hotel - Istanbul

The only comment is that they offer in their web page, one hamman and one dinner included in the price and this is not available of you book through Venere.

The hotel has a well location The transfer from airport to hotel was included in price as contained in the conditions of Venere and a person came to pick us up to hotel .But wen we leave the hotel to airport the staff claims pay one taxi to lead us to airport. I thing that must be cleared for other customers The breakfast should be improved

A nice hotel, clean with nice view on the ocean from the terrace, good breakfast and nice service.

I just want to mention my review her about my stay in Grand Yavus hotel in Istanbul which I reserved through Venere. The staf in the reception was toally unfriendly, they just wanted to gain money, first when we checked out they said at we have used 3 bottles of water and made a phone call, which will cost 12 liras, and when we started to protest he said, then it is ok I will take only 9 liras, Icant immagine that we can also discuss the price inside a hotel. More over we had to pay for the whole priode in advance which was 400 euro, and before we left the hotel they said that we have to pay more 400 euro because that was a mistake I started tgo shout and fortunately I had the confirmation mail with me, they almost spared me at the hotel about 10- 15 min. I was very angry and screamed that I should catch the flight then they discharged me. It is was a very bad experience at this hotel and I will never come to Turkey again neither in Istanbul nor any other places, I will never reserve again throug Venere.

We have booked at the last minute and really were satisfied by the room and services provided. The rooms and public places are nice and good to have a garden to smoke after breakfast as I smoke a lot. Dinner was delicious and cheap actually comparşng the small restaurants in the area. And we tried Turkish massage on marble bath and enjoyed it. should all people try it. Definitely will be back in Grand Yavuz as we live in Cyprus and just 75 mins flight there.

A special comment must be deserved to the service of turkish bath in the hotel: so clean, so delightful, an amazing experience.

Staff is unfriendly. Even if Venere.com did not charge anything from my CC, the hotel tried to charge the stay in advance just after booking. When arrived, they charged the WHOLE stay in advance. At breakfast, we asked for hot milk, but we were ignored by an unfriendly waiter, in two different occasions. The hotel is located at the bottom of a steep descent, so arriving at the main monuments takes more time. The hotel website offered free shuttle from/to airport for stays of 5+ nights, but we had to pay the return shuttle because (they say) the offer was not valid for venere.com bookers.

All travelers can stay in this Hotel. Good price, nice and quite room and great service.

Nice quiet hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to main attractions,but it took us until end of 2nd day to work out the most direct route as it is easy to take a wrong turn in the streets around the hotel.
