Emine Sultan Hotel - Istanbul

Hotel was full due to hurricane irene but they put me in Emine suite...beautiful! Brand new but traditional details, great views, great location. Will go back.

We stayed at the emine sultan suites and it was brilliant. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, a special thank you to the excellent Suzan. Rooms were very clean and charming. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay at Emine Sultan Hotel very much. The staff was very helpful and easily approachable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff even arranged for an early breakfast on our departure date. The hotel is very close to all the major tourist attractions as well. I recommend the Emine Sultan Hotel without hesitation.

We booked the triple room so that we would have ample space, but sadly had only one night's accomodation before we left. Breakfast was great, the staff welcoming. We would stay here again any time!

I had read comments on this site before choosing my Istanbul hotel and I had doubts about their relevance and honesty. After five nights at Emin Sultan I went back reading couple of comments in several languages. All of them match my own experience. The place is neat, proper, well maintained and equipped. Contact with staff and hospitality are really great night and day. They care about you, your programme, your satisfaction unlike receptionists in bigger Hotels. I will remember the spontaneous appreciation they delivered as they saw us in evening dress (as we went to a wedding party). Something you’ll never get in many more sophisticated places. An Yes the room are small (50 cm between bed and wall; small wash basin, etc) YES couple of additional hooks or coat hangers would help store pyjama or a set of trousers and shirt; YES breakfast buffet juices smell like chemicals whereas fresh oranges and fruits abounds in all groceries; YES, advices for visits, eateries tend to point to the ‘friends’ network” but that’s way it happens over there. Take an occultation mask if you want to enjoy long nights as the curtains do not filter daylight! = = = = = = J’avais lu sur ce site des commentaires avant de choisir un hôtel et j’avais des doutes sur leur pertinence. Après avoir passé 5 nuits à l’Emin Sultan Hotel j’ai relu qlq avis. Touts correspond très bien. Mon épouse et moi avons eu un très bon séjour. L’hôtel est 100% net, soigné et équipé. L’accueil est vraiment sympathique et cordial de jour comme de nuit : on s’enquiert de notre programme, de ce que ça s’est bien passé. Sortant (à un mariage) en tenue de soirée la réaction d’admiration spontanée est amusante et vivante. OUI, les chambres et salle de bains sont petites. (50 cm entre le lit et le mur, lavabo de petite taille) ; OUI on verrait bien un ou deux crochets en plus pour pendre son pyjama et une tenue de réserve. OUI les jus du buffet sont des concentrés chimiq

I will definitely stay again in this hotel. It was close to all important sites. However, it was hard to find. We had to ask someone to pick us up from the tramway - Sulhanamet station. The deck view was exquisite and breakfast was superb. They went out of their way to serve and the wifi is excellent. I navigated without problems. The rooms are quite small but kept well. We barely got our rooms cleaned but as soon as we asked them to do it, it was done. Oh, there was a bottle of wine on our beds too. I'll be back in Istanbul soon and will definitely book this hotel again.
