Overall staying was pretty satisfying. The hotel is 3 minutes walking from Mezquita Azul. Breathtaking views from the room (if facing the Mezquita sites). It was kind of difficult for the taxi driver to find his way so it is a good idea to have a print out of the map. The only but was: it was impossible to get an extra blanket! They say the hotel was full so they could not get the cover from another room, however difficult to believe no extra blankets were available in the whole hotel. Appart from that, no concerns. I would recommend it.

It was great to have reasonably priced luxury pick up from the airport at after 1:00 am. The rooms were comfy although some refurbishment in progress. Dingy downstairs (must water plants) and breakfast odd for foreigners. Service from reception efficient, smiley and thoughtful. Completely honest staff as we came to expect every where we went. Really close to good prime area in Sultanahmet. Really great Divas and thank you to everyone who worked hard to make us feel at home.

we had clean bedding and fresh towels everyday which i was impressed with. The breakfast was good and the staff were good. Would recommend anybody to stay there. The only thing that could with improvement is the noisey beds "not good for young couples".

There was one problem - it rained heavily & our ceilng leaked water. It was obviously an old problem, as the ceiling was stained. The staff did nothing about it & we stayed there 4 nights, with wet towels to catch the drips.

The hotel was quit nice. Since it is in a historical center - there are 2 mosques near - the prays are loud but inside of rooms you don't hear it (at least we did not). The lock of bath door was broken and the shower equipments were in a bad condition (still it was possible to use it). But in general the stay in a hotel was enjoing. p.s. - don't use shampoo :) even it smells good

Requested non-smoking room. Were shown to a smoking room. When I went down to complain to reception she told me that it was a nonsmoking room. The porter that showed us to the room had only just removed the ashtray. The only solution offered was to spray copious amounts of febreze and open the window as we were told there were no other rooms available. Staff compensated by offering a discount on airport shuttle which was not booked on the morning of departure. Bathroom was in a hideous state - mould on ceiling and tiles, plaster in ceiling bowing from moisture damage, mixer tap in basin coming out of socket and shower head was hand held as the holder was broken. Shouldn't have been sold without these being attended to. Even though we had booked using a card from the website, we were asked if we could pay cash, without being offered a discount on the room. We stayed in another hotel on a previous trip 2 weeks earlier and paid rack rate for a triple room which was only marginally higher in price than Divas. Would recommend others not to stay there as there are better options at a better price in the same area. Not a good reflection of what is actually available in Istanbul.

The location cannot be bettered and the hotel staff were consistently helpful and professional. This was the second time I have stayed there and not only shall I definitely return but one of my friends, who was staying in a more expensive hotel, plans to transfer his allegiance, for it is the best value-for-money of any hotel in the centre of Istanbul. The room we had on our first visit was in the front of the hotel with simple views over the street, but on our second visit the room in the back of the hotel had the most spectacular view of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and beyond that the sea as well as the Topkapi Palace. That view was unsurpassable and though I will alwyas try to book rooms in the back of the hotel in the future, even the rooms in the front are superb value-for-money.

Charming hotel in great location. They try hard, but seem unable to get competent help when mechanical devices break down. Their "free internet" computer was broken the whole 6 days of my stay (and had been a week before as well); my air-conditioner spouted much water in the room and was unusable my last 36 hours; even the credit card machine was on the blink when I wanted to check out (though it did get fixed after they asked me to go get money from the bank).

The location of the hotel is the best thing going for it! Even more central than I thought - a 5 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque area and another 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction to the Gran Bazaar area. The breakfast is a bit poor but otherwise it is a good hotel!
