The Celal Sultan Hotel - Special Class - Istanbul

The restaurant space on the hotel terrace (outstanding view at night) should be expanded ASAP and the management of the restaurant should be entrusted to an independent professional restaurant chain rather than hotel personnel: 1/ having the same single and ordinary menu during an entire week was a major "minus", 2/ seeing dishes transported from the kitchen on the ground floor to the restaurant on the fifth floor was both a nuisance and a shame. It only demonstrated that the hotel restaurant was not properly integrated in the global hotel services. I went there was once for dinner and would NEVER return as long as the service is formally upgraded. Got a very small room for my wife and I. It is obvious I should have immediately asked for a larger room at the same price, but I didn't realize this possibility until the time of my departure.

Very friendly and helpfull people at reception desk. Very good location for turists and near the metro-tram. Hotel is ok, but 4 stars is(too) high. Room 106 is linked with a door to the next room resulting in noice from room next door, choose another room if you can.

Excellent value for the price. Convient for most of the major attractions. Good breakfast.

We booked a double room and by the time of our arrival we asked for a double bed, they told us that they were sorry there was only a room with 2 single beds, but in order to satisfy us they ofered us a triple room with a douple bed and one extra single bed. it was such a pleasent surprice. They let you feel that their customers demands is their priority!!!

Last day of my stance, I took the breakfast at 7:30 but the middle of buffet was not available, half an hour later with the breakfast salon full of clients the buffet continued in the same way. (It was the only one incident)
