The first night we were accomodated in a tiny room with two separate single beds, barely large enough for two people to stand; we made a strong complaint and the day after they gave us a double room on the first floor still very poorly furnished but with more space. The hotel is very noisy and there is no acoustic isolation from the street below, so you are kept awake either by the traffic or by the noise the staff makes until past midnight moving the furniture. The only good point is the position close to the main places of interest, but we definitely advise anybody against this hotel.

the suite on 3rd floor is worth the price, with a spacious terrace and a view over the See of Marmara. The hotel staff is very welcoming and helpful. Overall a great place for staying in the neighbourhood of Blue Mosk and Topkapi.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean, quiet, good location, fresh opened hotel. Cons: - Weak breakfast (colored water instead of juices), - Cigarette smell because smoking outside next to the door of room for breakfast, definitely smaller room as on the picture (suite which had the size of a Türkish standars double), - Weak explanation of the origin of the differencies between the picture and the reality (we have different room categories than Venere). - At room cleaning our belongings were moved into the drawers.

First of all.. I must say that this Hotel is by far one of the worst hotels we've stayed in all europe. We are a young couple that travel around europe quite often and we dont ask much from a hotel. Only 2 things. 1. its quiet and 2. clean. This hotel had the clean part ok. but... If we the noise! its incredibly noisy! The first night we stayed at the bottom room... we slept probably 2 hours... we could hear everything. For example... the night reception person was on the computer.. we could hear his typing on the key boards! we could here his clicking on the internet! we could here the people in the next room go to the bathroom! and it got worst.. suddenly.. around 2 pm.. this huge noise started... and it was a banging for every half hour.. apparently it was something to do with the furnace. Oh.. and the bed! horrible.. it made this loud noise every single time i turned around.. and i could here the bed in the next room squeak soo loud! the next morning we complained and they moved us to the 2nd floor.. again. that night... same thing.. the noise the bed everything!!!!! we always travel on a budget and we where seriously considering going to look for another hotel even if it meant loosing our money. The last night they put us on the suite.. which again.. it was nice but.. honestly... it was so not worth the 3 days of no sleep. The suite was a bit quieter but the bed was still squeaking so loud that i woke up my wife even if i went to the bathroom.... so... please... dont go here if you are thinking of having a good night sleep!!! i would never ever stay here.. I'm problably better off in a hostel....

Very close to the Sultanhamet tourist sites. And cheap. However the trade-off is the tiny rooms and wafer thin walls that allow you to hear what you neighbour had for breakfast.

We booked a triple room for three nights at the hotel. After almost 10hrs on the bus, the initial arrival at the hotel was rather disappointing - the reception staff was extremely nice and helpful (even carried our bags for app. 3m to a room opposite the reception desk) but the room was right next to the reception area/ guest lounge which was noisy and smoky. The receptionist indicating that we could have dinner in the hotel and then trying to send us to some fish restaurant near the waterfront (“a shuttle will drop you off”) (unsurprisingly, as it turns out later, the guy earns a little on the side by recommending restaurants, carpet shops and taxis etc.) didn’t help the first general bad impression. The room itself was far too small for 3 beds, the bathroom tiny, the minibar empty; everything seemed rather makeshift. We complained and got promised a better room for the next night, which did happen, but only after repeated complaining and talking to the manager the next day - reception staff seemed rather surprised that we were serious about shifting rooms, the previous night’s promise had only been made to pacify). In the end we got moved to a self-contained flat about 3min walk from the hotel, which was fabulous, quiet, spacious and we got it for the initial price we had agreed to on the internet. After that everything looked better! Two of us even stayed for some more nights and got a nice, decent size room on the first floor. Despite the initial troubles, we liked the hotel and would stay again. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely, the rooms were clean. So an overall good experience, if you stay away from rooms on the ground floor and/ or if you look only for double and single rooms.
