Arasta Boutique Hotel - Istanbul

The location was great and just situated right behind the Blue Mosque. The room was smaller than expected and the furnishings which looked fresh in the pictures were a bit worn. But the bathroom was really clean and quite spacious. All in all, it suited our needs so no complaints there.

I can't say enough about Arasta Botique Hotel. The staff was very welcoming and very helpful. They speak very good english, which is important. Excellent location, close to all important buildings. The only issue is wake up call from the Blue Mosque at 5AM, but after few days we did not hear it at all... All in all very pleasant stay! Absolute recommendable! Thanks Tanju and Tumer...

Excellent stay. me and my family visited istanbul for 04 days and stayed at this hotel. just around the corner of blue mosque. we really enjoyed our stay here. All the major sights like blue mosque, grand bazar, ayasofya, topkapi are just a short walk away. the staff is very professional and very helpful. the hotel is as it is shown on web page. rooms though small but very clean and comfortable. would definitely come back and stay again. Recommended to all. may be a little expensive but worth spending a little extra bucks.

Beautiful, small hotel within metres of the Blue Mosque, Ayasofya, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, and Hippodrome. You can't pick a more central location than this. The owner is wonderful, helpful, and attentive. The morning breakfast is free and very good, light Turkish fare. The only drawback is the noise level outside (buses going by to the attractions and the call to prayer that will wake you up at 5am, though all hotels in this area have this problem). Also, the steps may be too much for older travellers or those with health problems. I would still highly recommend Arasta, we loved our stay there!!

Location of hotel is excellent, within walking distance to many of the main attractions. The hotel staff were very friendly, curtious and very helpful.

Very good value for money. Staff were friendly welcoming and helpful providing good advice on local facilities and places to see and visit. The location is excelent positoned just behind the blue mosque the views from the rooftoop breakfast area are remarkable for such a low cost hotel. We took the cheapest room which was quite adequate but did mean that you could hear the reception, next time I would probably upgrade to a better room but it really wasn't a problem. When I am next in Istanbul I will stay here again and would be happy to recomend it to friends.
