Walking distance from main attractions. The room was tiny for two people. One side of the double bed was against the wall. If you wanted to be in the room, you could only lie on the bed. TV with 10 channels, none of them in English. The bathroom was tiny as well, there was no place to put your things, I had to leave mine on the floor while I was having my shower. The balcony perfect. Unfortunatelly, the roof restaurant is closed, being refurbished.

The hotel is in a fantastic location just a stones throw from Agia shopia .It has the most amazing views from the breafast terrace but it could do with a major revamp. The rooms and the decor in general are from twenty years ago.I dont think the word "boutique"is appropriate. Nevetherless the staff where very friendly and polite.

Very happy with my choice of hotel. View from my terrace was incredible. Service from staff was superb. Room was a little small, but I was by myself. Would definitely stay again if possible.

Every year we spend a few days in Istanbul. We stayed in this hotel the second time and love it especially because of its great view from the terrace and our room. Although our room was a little bit small, it is our favorite hotel in Istanbul. The location is great (very close to all important sights)and the price is fair. The breakfast buffet at the wonderful terrace is very good! We will stay there again next year!

First night got room without double bed as per reservation. Morning after changed into double room with splendid view on Agya Sofia and Blue Mosque. Rooms are not clean. Breakfast is poor. Position is excellent as it is close to the main historic places. View from the terrace is wonderful.

the view from the roof is stunning - worth staying here just for the breakfasts on the roof. We were not given the remote control for the air-con until day 2 so until then we did not realise we could control the temperature - probably due to our jet-lagged state after long-haul flight. Even after booking through Venere at a good price they offered us a further 5% discount if we paid cash.

THe rooftop restaurant was overrated in previous reviews. There are better places to eat in the local area both for price and quality. That being said, the views from the dining room were superb.

I only stayed one night and chose Hotel And because of its closeness to the main tourist sites. It was even closer than I envisaged from the map. When I arrived I enquired about the airport shuttle for the next morning and was told that even though it would be calling at 7.15am I would be able to get breakfast early. The next morning a different guy on reception told me that breakfast didnt start until later and then the shuttle turned up early so I missed out. But it was lovely sitting outside on the roof having a drink in the evening and being able to admire the entire old area all lit up. The downside of being so close to the mosque was the 5am wakeup call but as this was my 15th night in Turkey I was used to it. I used the internet the evening I was there-it was in an office off a communal lounge. There were only Turkish guys there playing cards and talking. That didnt bother me as I was travelling alone but if I had been with companions I wouldnt have felt comfortable socialising there. But overall a positive experience.

The Hotel is in a wonderful position, but it needs to be immediatly refurbished. From Terrace restaurant you can see most of Istambul, but food is not really good.

I stayed 7 days. The room (1 person) was very, very small. The vieuw from the balcony was fantastic. Really the best view of all Istambul!!! The restaurant also has a fantastic view, but the food is very poor. Breakfast is poor. Diner: food is poor. You should take this hotel for the view and for the surroundings (if you are a tourist). It has the best situation of them all...

Hotel a little bit run down. Rugs in our room were really dirty. Sheets were changed after 1 week(!), towels every day. We were supposed to be picked up at the airport, but noone turn up. Breakfast was OK and the view from the terrace was amazing. The location was perfect. The hotel is near everything a tourist should visit in Istanbul, but far from the area were all the bars and clubs are, so not really confortable for young people. Se non avete grandi pretese e se non volete spendere un patrimonio, questo albergo fa al caso vostro. P.S. Istanbul è magnifica e I Turchi altrettanto. Buone vacanze

My wife and I went to this hotel in early September 2007 for a six day trip. It was our first time to Istanbul, and we were glad that the taxi they arranged was there waiting, as promised (frankly, I wasn't expecting it). The room we stayed in -- a double -- was not the biggest of rooms. In fact, the bathroom was twice the size of the room. Nonetheless, the room was comfortable, albeit small, and the views absolutely breathtaking. We had a view of the Ayasofia and of the bosphorous. You really can't beat the view, as well as the price (we paid, through Venere, about 55-60 euros a night). The staff was very helpful and will arrange trips/tours for you if needed. There's a good internet connection in the lobby if you are an internet addict, and a nice lounge area for drinking tea/coffee or just plain smoking. All I can say is that this hotel is in a very prime location, steps from all the major sites and the tram (without being so close that you hear it in your room), and clean. It's not the four seasons or the hilton, but then again, your only paying about 55-60 euros a night here, so it goes with the territory that you're not going to get 5 star luxury. You will get, if I had to estimate, 3 star comfort, at most. The breakfast is average: cucumber, olives, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs. Nothing to write home about but it fuels you up. And the terrace in which you eat is magical. The only warning is that the hotel tried to charge me for the taxi ride from the airport to to the hotel. I told them that I thought it was included. After a short debate, they agreed. I recommend this place to couples or single travelers. If you're bringing a kid, spend more and get a bigger room.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Restaurant was good and had a beautiful view of the historic area. Location was great. It was easy to walk to many places and there was a trolley down the street. The only problems were with the internet connection for emails but we managed and the staff weren't able to help with how to get to locations outside of the local area. But overall it was a good experience and I would recommend to others.

The hotel is quite nice and near the main monuments. Magnifics views from terrace. The only thing i was very surprised was that when i did the booking throught this page the hotel was shown as a 4 star Hotel and in really its a 3 star hotel. It's not very confortable and if you a re looking for an Hotel just to sleep this one is ideal.

The End Boutique Hotel is a nice place where to stay. The location is great and the terrace offers a beautiful view of the sorroundings. Staff is gentle and helpful. Nertherless I find there is a long way to go to reach a 4 stars hotel standard. The rooms are quiet and clean but very very simple and the furniture is old and basic. When you'll get in the room the first comment would be:"It's ok", but that's it! Anyway the location is absolutly perfect and a walking distance to many of the best places to visit. Hope this can be helpful. Best regards, Leda

The no.1 criterion I used to choose this hotel was "Wi-Fi Internet connection in the entire property." I took this to mean inside my room also. This was not the case and we had to move to a different hotel after just 1 night. A second criterion was "Shuttle service from and/or to the airport." I asked for a shuttle on my reserevation but there was never any reply on this request. I am not clear if this is an issue with the hotel or an issue with venere.com?
