Hôtel Gabriel Issy - Issy-les-Moulineaux

A great place to stay, about 10 minutes ride on the metro to get to central Paris. Nice to stay just out of the main city. Room was small, but sufficient, and cleaned each day.

For the price, this place is tough to beat. The staff was friendly and multi-lingual. They're not concierges though, so don't expect them to give you much info on things to do and places to go. We had a room facing a busy street and never heard anything from outside. The interior walls though are a bit thin, so just hope you don't have noisy neighbors. Never did get a chance to sample the breakfast or the fitness room, but they're there. The room size was really good for the price, just don't expect American-sized accommodations. The free wireless internet was really a huge plus. The area is good with a supermarket, bakery, butcher nearby, along with a few restaurants as well. It's a 5 minute walk away from the nearest Metro stop and a large Velib station (Paris' bike rental system). I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent budget hotel for visiting Paris. Rooms/Staff were fine. Easy to get into and out of the city, nice bakery near the metro as substitute for the hotel breakfast.
