Hotel Playa La Media Luna - Isla Mujeres

Perfect for getaway vacations. The hotel has a private and warmer beach, yet is within walking distance to many activities and shopping. The hotel staff was attentive and friendly. Though this is a higher end hotel, the staff was down to earth and super friendly. I can't wait to stay here again!!

Rooms small and dark, the hot water in shower came out in the sink! The hotel then put us on the 2nd floor. Same size room but more light and privite. This was a standard room, when booking no superior rooms available. Asked at check in and offered the difference in $ told no available but from the pool a few still had the hurrican shutters on them and vacant. Staff very aloof and not helpful. The road into the hotel is a dirt road with some local people living in rather poor conditions. The pool is small and cleaned every night. Playa Norte is just a 5 minute walk, Rent chair and umbrella for $10US. Bohas resturant is there too and has good food and drinks. 10 minutes to town for all the resturants and shops. However this is Isla and overall enjoyed our stay.
