Hotel has a very good restaurant (run independently) that charged only 10 Euros for a complete dinner, including wine and dessert. However, it had only a few choices available each day for first and second courses. Breakfast included pastries and beverages from the adjoining cafe, and yogurt was also available. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel manager was very friendly and made our overnight stay comfortable and welcoming. The room was clean and the breakfast was very nice. The hotel seems to be catered towards corporate clients as the guest facilities are minimal, but on the other hand, there is no wireless internet available from the room. The hotel is centrally located in Isernia and close to all amenities, including a laundromat.

The staff were great. This was our first trip to Italy. We were traveling with my elderly parents and Wilma met us at the train station when we arrived. This was very helpful. We were bringing my 83 year old Dad to see the village where his parents were born. Wilma arranged a private taxi and driver to take us to the village which was in the mountains about 30 miles from Isernia. What a wonderful experience. All the staff were very helpful and kind. Thank you Wilma for all you help!!!!!

Hotel was great...pity about the city and area. I would not go to this region again if someone gave me one million bucks!

A very big surprise for such a nice quality hotel in a small city. The prices were incredible, the facility was beautiful and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The pictures do not represent this hotel well enough. I will definately stay there again!

Very helpful staff. Walls, windows and doors very solid. Great air conditioning, good price. I'd stay here again.

A very nice and sensible hotel - seemed targeted more to business travellers, though we did stay off season for holidays.

Quiet place to stay. Very friendly staff. We only stayed for one night during our travel through Italy. We enjoyed this short stay in every way and will recommend this hotel to our friends.

The TV and safe were mounted way too high to use comfortably. The TV was almost unwatchable from the couch -- one has to stretch one's neck backwards to view it. To access the safe, we had to stand on a chair. The hotel personnel were very pleasant and helpful. Parking on the street was easy and we felt, safe. During our stay, the restaurant was not very good. A very limited menu for dinner, and a meager offering for breakfast.

I've returned to the Sayonara several times. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Sayonara. The service is very good. The internet service available to customers is an excellent idea. Suggestions for improvement: 1) The phone on the small shelf over the bed is very difficult to get to. It would be much more conveniently accessible on the desk. 2) The strong box in the wardrobe on the high shelf was much too high to reach. 3) Available food at breakfast was sometimes too skimpy and some fruit was also slightly spoiled. Otherwise, this is a clean, comfortable, reasonably priced hotel in a good location.

We were very pleased with the accomodations and the hotel staff. The desk woman was exceptionally helpful in our communicating with are cousins who couldn't speak English. The owner also was very courteous and helpful. We were very satisfied. Good job Venere!

A friendly hotel off the main street. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Rooms were quiet and tidy. Bathroom could do with updating but clean. Town itself a bit nondescript.

Good food, pleasant staff, excellent value. The countryside is lovely. A little hard to find. I would return.

The people were so helpful. The food in the restaurant was some of the best I've had in my trips to Italy. The restaurant was lovely, the service wonderful, and the price was unbelievably low. This hotel was located in a good, safe area close to the railway station.

The service provided and the quality of meal, when we had dinner was excellent. However breakfast was the worst we had during 16 days stay in Italy. There was almost no food left, when we arrived for breakfast and they could not supply us with additional food. Free internet access, the only hotel who supplied this service during our stay

This was my third stay at the Sayonara and there have been improvements each time. Hopefully I will stay at the Sayonara again in the future.

A warm and friendly welcome from the staff on reception followed by an efficient check-in. The room was clean and spacious with enough clean towels for all. Breakfast was well presented and plentiful. Parking was on street but not a problem. All in All a very enjoyable stay. I would be grateful if you could pass these comments to the hotel Sayonara.
