Excellent dinner, best I had in Italian hotels. Great view, but spa is a bit overrated. I was impressed by hospitality of staff. The restaurant service was the best I've seen in Italy...really.

The hotel was in an excellent location: walking distance to the castle, bus stop, port (without luggage) and, best of all, on a large and lovely park. I had half-board and the food was the best I had in Italy. My room was quite small and there seemed to be an ant problem.

A little far from downtown, good prices, very helpful and knowledgeable employees. our room was tiny, and window was a couple feet away from a wall: no view at hall, felt like a cute little prison. breakfast was great.

We were given a room that faced the breakfast courtyard. It somehow was important to staff to clatter coffee cups at 6 am in the morning for what appeared to be for a couple of hours. Otherwise, room was small but served its purpose.

The hotel is nice and well situed in Ischia, approx. 15 minutes walk from the main harbor. Equipped with a nice swimming pool and spa (essential, not so large, but comfortable if there are less than 4-5 persons at the same time). The four stars rating for this hotel looks to be excessive, but quality of service compared to hotel rates is fairly good.

Eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo. Buono il posizionamento dell'albergo. Parcheggio nel viale antistante, dove capita, gratuito. Buona la prima colazione inclusa. Sauna e piscina termale gratuita. A Ischia conviene andare con la macchina per visitare i vari lidi e le terme. Consiglio l'albergo.

The staff at the Villa Durrueli was incredibly helpful. Although not all spoke good English, everyone tried to please us in every conceivable way. The room was spotless. The view from the balcony was extraordinarily lovely (a Church steeple was visible in the distance and then the sea). The room air conditioning was very efficient.

We were warmly welcomed and pleased with the support we received from the owners. Truly a very friendly family. The only thing I would caution about is the access to the parking space. The entry gate is accessible from a narrow alley and one has to do several backwards/forwards to get in/out. I would recommend that one gets a small car (compact or smaller). Otherwise, the house is very centrally located to the Amalfi and Sorrento coasts. Try the Don Alfonso restaurant (two star Michelin). Have fun.

I enjoyed my time spent at Villa Durelli. The hotel is conveniently located and the service was very good. I would highly recommend a visit to Ischia. Many things to do and most are free.

Nice hotel with a small but beautiful relaxing pool area. Good quality half-board. Nice staff. 200-300 m walk to the picturesque beach which overlooks the Castle. The "bagno" costs an extra 6 euro per person for a day including sun chair and umbrella. Overall excellent value for money. Minor remarks: Black stains of mould on shower tubing in our room. Thin walls but fortunately not very noisy guests during our stay. Ischia is a beautiful Island. Good choice if you travel to this area and bring children. Visit to thermal baths strongly recommended. We visited Negombo which cost 23 euro per person for a whole day but was worth every penny. You can reach Capri and the Amalfi coast by ferry from Ischia but if you plan to visit Pompeiji, Capri and the Amalfi coast we would recommend staying over for a couple of nights in Naples on the way in or out. Saves time and money. If so don´t miss the archeological museum in Naples.

The hotel needs to let people know that the spa facilities are closed on Sundays. We had to go to another facility for massage and treatments.

As a single person I often have to fight my way out of some room at the back of the hotel. At this hotel I had a room as good as any of the other, with a nice view over the sea and the castle. Good value.

I loved this place! It was large with a balcony and wonderful view from the roof. The swimming pool was sparkling, and the staff were very helpful. I did not know that dinner was included, so that really made this hotel an exceptional price. I would stay here again without hesitation:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We did go during October and the holiday was very quiet but I imagine that during summer months the hotel will be busy but not overly so that it spoils the tranquil setting and the service.

We had just a wonderful time on Ischia & much of that was due to the excellence of the Villa Durrueli. The food served there was as good as anything we'd find elsewhere. The staff was extremely helpful. I'd recommend it to anyone.

This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood away from the main road from Ischia Port to Ischia Ponte, yet is within a 15 min walk to both areas. The restaurant is outstanding, and the hotel service was excellend. I would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel at the bottom of a quiet cul de sac in a residential suburb. However unfortunately both the staff and other guests didn't give consideration to those of us who think a holiday means being able to sleep beyond 6.30am!! Walls very thin could hear conversations, TV etc of neigbours in the ajoining rooms and staff chatting as they passed through reception. HB was very good value though the downside was that evening meals were picked at breakfast and served between 7.30 & 8.30pm. If you opted to go nearer 8.30pm you ate while the waiters cleared up & you felt you were stopping them from going home - not a leisurely experience!! However if you're a heavy sleeper or an early riser its views and pool area make it a good choice. May go back again with ear plugs!!

Clean, comfortable, well-run, friendly hotel in a very convenient, quiet location allowing easy access on foot to facilities in both Ischia Ponte (10 mins) and Ischia Porto (20 mins). Our room, though very well presented, was smaller than we expected considering it was in the top price bracket. Some rooms have a door connecting with the adjacent room which lets through a lot of noise. Otherwise the hotel was very good.

This was a small but splendid hotel in an ideal positions for both Ischia Ponte and Ischia Porto. Hard to find any fault and will have no hesitation in returning or reccomending to others

We thought it lovely but there was not a lift. Although this was not a great problem as bedrooms were on ground or first floor, the restuarant and pool were downstairs from ground floor and as we are not in our first flush of youth found the 2 flights from resturant to bedroom a bit tiring.
