View was stunning, but grounds and hotel need a major updating - the place generally looks run down and tired. Beds were very uncomfortable and furniture was more of garage sale quality rather than "antiques". Bathrooms were small and have not been updated since at least the 70's. Food was marginal - you would benefit from a walk into the town and sit at a cafe for much (much) better fare. Breakfasts were simple, but service questionable. The beach is not maintained and needs some tlc. Steep stairs to get down to the hotel, so pack lightly! Some good things about the hotel - the view and the sounds of the waves crashing at night. Hotel staff were accommodating and quite pleasant. Area is in a very quiet residential area and offers a pleasant sunset view of the castle on the island.

By car
From the North: leave the highway at Napoli, take the tangenziale ring road, exit at Pozzuoli-Via Campana and take the ferry boat to Ischia at Pozzuoli pier.
From the South, leave the highway at Napoli-Via Marittima-Piazza Municipio and take the ferry-boat at the Beverello pier.
