Hotel Villa Franz - Sant'Angelo, Ischia

We really enjoyed are stay at Villa Franz. Carmen was so good to us (Thank you Carmen) and the view was incredible. Italy is not big on signs, but a few signs along the way would definitely help people find the hotel. We realized how very lucky we were to have a hotel in a beautiful spot as many of the hotels are along noisy and busy roadways. I would definitely go back to Villa Franz if I ever come back to Ischia.

Nice room, spacious balcony with spectacular view. Actually like the pictures on website, which was a big surprise. Very nice location, it requires a lot of walking. Close to nice beach and 15 minute stunningly beautiful walk to Sant'Angelo. Breakfast was good and served on a beautiful terrace.

Pay attention - you have to park the car outside of Sant'Angelo (expect another 10 Euros a day). Also: to get the luggage to the hotel makes another 10 Euros by electric car one way. Sant'Angelo itself is very nice but not cheap.

Very friendly staff and beautiful location. Our room was basic but very clean with a large terrace and a fantastic view of the bay. It's a bit of a hike to get around Sant'Angelo and the electric taxis are expensive, but it's worth it.

We had a really warm and friendly welcome.Just like the other tourists there, we almost felt at home immediately.We had a wonderful sea view from the terrace of our room with a nice flowered garden below inhabited by a lot of singing birds.We really enjoyed the small covered swimming pool of natural and thermal warm waters open at any season. This has been an ideal place to relax. We had a small problem to find the hotel and it's a bit difficult to get there on foot with luggage.The solution is either to taxe a micro taxi or to phone the hotel and they will come and take you without any problem. Once you are in there,you'd wish to stay longer than foreseen.

Wirklich nettes Hotel mit gutem Service und guter Lage. 70€ pro Nacht im DZ sind okay.
