Area around 2nd (upper) pool should be surrounded by some more plants and existing bar counter should be opened to offer drinks/snacks

family of 5, 2 rooms, loved it. clean, common areas fantastic, pool side was 10+, great restaurant, the beach here is fantastic. hotel shuttle service to and from port. wirelss internet in rooms. i've seen negative reviews, but our experience was really great.

When we arrived at the Ios Palace we were welcomed by the reception manager and promptly checked in, when we were upgraded for no extra charge to a Superior room! At this we were escorted to it by car and left to enjoy the swimming pool just for our rooms! Brilliant
