The hotel staff is extremely helpful. The breakfast was also good. We stayed in a room that had window and balcony towards Interlaken West station so the view was great. Only a minor issue with shower fitting. While taking shower though most of the times it works fine but sometimes the water comes hot and cold on and off.

I stayed at the hotel 2 nights. Had great time !! The room was very nice ,clean and breakfest was very good.

We got a top floor room with double view. The room had a little balcony overlooking the lake. Even if it was very cold, we enjoyed to spend some time outside. The room was not spacious and the bathroom was so small that it was difficult to close the door after you entered. As other people said the wooden floor made a lot of noise when we walked around (but we were prepared, thanks Venere hotel reviews). Breakfast was very good: plenty of good quality food, served in a big but relaxing and comfy room/. The location was great just a short walk from the station a nd very close to the shop area and to restaurants. Good price/quality for the expensive swiss standards. Professional, nice, helpfull staff

We had a very nice room. It was a beautiful location and enjoyed the room thoroughly. The only warning I would give is it is very noisy. The wood flooring is very loud and the walls are thin. Other then that it was excellent value. We would stay there again but on the top floor only

Pleasant, clean, tidy, well-presented hotel in great central location with rooms directly onto river (ask for a river room - the view is fantastic). Noise travels between floors (we had children thumping on the floor for 3 hours one night). Other: Local tourist information service is nearby, very helpful, with impeccable English language speakers. Jungfrauhoch train & entry day-trip well worth the money, especially for those who have not seen snow before (everything is included in admission price except food and add-ons like Husky and Helicpter rides). Thunersee - would recommend a short trip one-way only, then return by train.

Nice family managed hotel, worth it's price. Spaciousness of rooms and public area together with sincere (not overselling) personnel on positive side and closeness to the railway on opposite creates a perfect base for active days spent in exploring Berner Oberland

The only complaint would be we could hear the people in the room above us walking around their room, moving their beds, kids running around. Had trouble sleeping. I would stay again, but only on the top floor. The chocolate fondue at nearby restaurants not as good as what I thought!

The location was very good. On the map it looked far from the station but actually it was nearer compared to some of the other properties. Location was not central but it had a nice view of the river and the mountains. Problems: 1. The wooden flooring was very squeaky. Made too much sound when walked upon. 2. We were on the 3rd floor and the strength of the wireless internet was very weak.

We (2 families with 1 child each) stayed there for 2 nights. Would certainly recommend it for young families. The room was spacious (comparatively) although you might not be able to compare a room for similar price in UK. In Switzerland a decent accomodation is always expensive. Good breakfast. Nice views from the small balcony (although it looked a bit old with rust on the hand rails etc). Staff were very informative about the location. There was a nice Indian take away near to the hotel. Plenty of other restaurents as well.

Very nice. A short walk from the train station. I had a very nice sized room with windows on two walls, both framing a nice view. Light traveler's note: landrymats are very scarce in Switzerland, in fact, in most of Europe, but as luck would have it there is one just a few blocks North of the hotel, just over the bridge.

The hotel was in great location right on the river bank. there is a dept store nearby and 7 min walk from interlaken west station. The hotel had wireless internet (which though very week in the room), was still a good facility. Slightly expensive but good value for money.

Relatively small rooms, but very clean and bright with large windows. Comparatively expensive, as is the norm in Switzerland. The hotel decor was beautiful. Everything was very satisfactory. The only thing that wasn't mentioned is the hotels proximity to the railway tracks. However, the noise didn't bother us too much. Otherwise, it's an excellent location.
