Sited in a wonderful and quiet area right next to the wood, Hotel-Pension Leitgebhof is located a 7 minutes walk from the town center of Igls. Not far from Innsbruck and 300 meters above the Olympic City; Igls is famous for all sorts of Winter games and is well-known by hiking lovers in spring and during the summer time.
The Hotel is the perfect accommodation for a relaxing weekend, far from the city bustle, or to enjoy a pleasant holiday amidst nature and tranquility and to savor the food and tradition of this magnificent Austrian region. Ski fans will appreciate the numerous ski slopes featured in the area in and around Igls.

Igls is situated in the low mountain range, 900 meters above the sea level, and 300 meters above Innsbruck. The town is famous for having hosted the Olympic Games twice. It offers many footpaths for hiking excursions and an ample choice of more or less easier mountain-tour tracks.
Other activities in and around Igls include golf, tennis, swimming, horse-riding and crazy-golf. Moreover, the Patscherkofel ski lifts and cable ways offer ski lovers fast access to the slopes.

Excellent service. Breakfast was European (sliced meats, cheese and bread) and very good. Room was clean and neat. We were a two minute drive from the gondola for snowboarding, and another 10 minutes from the Olypmic bobsled. It was closed to the public the weekend we were there, however.

From Italy (Brenner): take the Brennerautobahn A13 motorway and exit at Igls. Then follow the signs to Igls.
