Hotel Maximilian - Innsbruck

I have stayed in Innsbruck just one day and I found Hotel Maximilian really confortable, It was a pity that was just one day because Innsbruck it's a quiet and nice town and deserves a more days to be visited.

The sound insulation to the corridor and the street was a bit poor. The hotel surroundings and the other guests were relatively quiet so this was by no means a big problem. The wireless Internet access was free of charge and worked well.

Athough the hotel was very nice, the room was small. The bed was comfortable, but hard to get out of (kind of sagged in the center but was firm). Great location on the edge of the old city.

Great hotel, location and staff. within walking distance of everything. Room was a bit small with 2 suitcases standing around. No fridge in the room.

Maximilian is a nice 3 start hotel. Prices for a double room fluctuate a lot; ~ hundred euros / double room is a reasonable price.

As a whole the hotel was a good experience. Clean room and good breakfast. Room a little bit too noisy (it was over and facing the street)Regretably the reception staff was not well trained on how to overcome a problem related with the provison of the WIFI/Internet. Solution was there and it was simple (provide a cable for a direct connection from the room) but they didn't know cables were available
