Very old furniture and badcurtains in our room. Need some maintenance. The menu was very very good - super. A very beatyful vue from the altan. Some of the other guests from eks. Poland, France made a lot of noise, but - the owner has no guilt, only som guests who does not think on other guests.

This is an excellent hotel on the outskirts of Innsbruck. It's on a bus route so it's only 10 minutes to Innsbruck. The room we had had a balcony and was a good size. The room was spotless as was the remainder of the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and we rated it in the top 5 of all the breakfasts we had on our trip. The hotel is quiet, situated on the surburbs of Innsbruck with beautiful scenery around.

Excellent stay. wonderful family run, great restaurant, spectacular views. Relatively easy drive into Innsbruck. Don't know about skiing but it looked like it had potential.

We had a comfortable stay and the food was lovely. Rooms to the rear have a very good view of the mountains. However, the Wi Fi connection is only available only in the lobby and parts of the bar and I had a lot of difficulty in logging in. I am not sure if the system supports concurrent users. Access to the hotel using public transport can be a little tedious - there is only one bus and that runs once an hour with the last bus leaving Innsbruck around 7 in the evening. However I am told that taxis are easily avaialble though we did not try them.

That was only one night stay but I can recommend that hotel. It is located in picturesque area for which You have a look from balcony. Rooms are rather big and excellent clean. They have realy good kitchen at reasonable price. But completely above all of expectations, needs and scale of rating is service. I have no idea do they are owners of this hotel but they are so helpful and warm so if they aren't owners please make them owners ;) They help You as touristic information, tell where to ski, how to save money on the austrian highways, and even even in cleaning car from snow or force out the car from snow drift. If I will be in this region again I definitely go to the Bar Hotel.

I went to go skiing in Innsbruck. The hospitality was incredible, they made sure I went to the best ski area based on the weather and conditions. First day even brought me to the slopes which were close by, and then called a service for the following days. They served local beer on tap, the dinners were delicious and the company was pleasant. I was able to easily connect to the Internet from my laptop via their WIFI in the lounge. The hotel is next to the public bus stop which takes to Innsbruck in 15 minutes. From Innsbruck you can go to any of the ski areas, free with special ski buses.

Perfect stay! Good memories. Medieval house hotel "Bar". Owners of the hotel are welcoming. Your hotel located out of town in a beautiful surroundings of the Alps. Take ~18min. trip to your destination(Patsch) from the Central Bus Terminal. Your bus #4141(from stop F)runs not very often, but through exciting route. There is another bus which runs to Patsch as well, from the same bus stop.

Our stay was generaly ok. We've missed ventilation in the bathroom. Also 2EUR toll per ride from/to the higway came as a surprise. And of course somewhat cold welcome in the hotel coined by pouring hot tap water into thermosbottle to make a tea?!? by the hotel ownerin makes us say - we won't be back any time soon!

Week end during Christmas Market with friends company in the November 2008. Good Welcome! Hotel so far from the centre, indispensable the car (15minutes from the centre). Rooms enough clean but in the bathrooms there's not the shower and loundry were not changed. In the public and restaurant area all smok. Breakfast is not international (not for Italian People) and there's not every morning hot milk available. Good restaurant but expensive. Sauna and swimming pool (including in the price) were not available; explanations was that others canadian customers didn't interested to use them! I suggest this hotel to yanger and informal people but only with car.

Lovely Tirolean village with smell of fresh green grass and echos of cows from meadows nearby. Perfect place to stay when you are in transit e.g. from/to Italy.

Excellent hosts make you very welcome. The food in the resaurant is superb. Beatiful surroundings and if you want to get away from your bike/car for a day there's a good bus service into Innsbruck. It's a large wooden built traditional type of building so it can be a bit noisey in the rooms if you happen to have 'door slammers' staying there too! Excellent value for money though and I'd definately return there.

The Hotel is GREAT and the view and landscape are just incredible, the rooms were perfect and with a nice view of the valley and mountains as well. Breakfast was excellent. We had dinner at their restaurant; they made us some typical Tyrol dishes that were really good. There are lots of little towns close to Patsch if you want to have dinner outside and Innsbruck is just a few minutes away by car. The personnel were really nice and friendly. Angelica, the hostess, speaks German, French, English and Italian; all of them really fluent. The hotel has a swimming pool and also a sauna.

This is a wonderful hotel in an amazingly perfect village. Every building, every view is sheer perfection! The hotel is run by very friendly and attentive staff and the food in the hotel restaurant is exceptional and very reasonably priced. Innsbruck is a short drive or bus journey away - but don't try to walk! As the crow flys it isn't very far at all, but as we aren't crows it turned out to be a very long walk. We would recommend the hotel and the village itself to everyone and anyone! We will be returning.

Patsch is a winter resort and is very quiet in the summer. The hotel has a good restauarant which is closed on Tuesdays. The staff speak English. Rooms are large and comfortable although our bathroom looked a bit dated.
