Located in the heart of Innsbruck, just opposite the railway station, the Grand Hotel Europa is housed in a historic building, now offering stylish hotel accommodation.
Once popular as a residence of nobility, the Bavarian King Ludwig II declared this to be the most desirable place in Innsbruck to celebrate a festival.
Among the numerous services of this hotel, guests may find a restaurant, a bar, conference and banqueting facilities and a wellness area with a small fitness area.
After the renovation works the hotel is glad to welcome its guests in the new refurbished lobby and reception area. The Europa Bar has been renovated as well, so that the guests can find here an enjoyable place to relax.

We had no idea that we were staying in a 5 star hotel when we made this reservation over the phone. That said, we could not have been more pleased with the Grand Hotel Europa. It's location immediately across the street from the train station was a wonderful surprise. Our car was parked and we didn't use it the entire visit. The hotel is located close to Old Town Innsbruck and the walk there was less than 15 mins. The hotel staff was wonderful; offering great advice for transportation and always interested in our comfort. The morning buffet breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel. The best of three we used in Europe.

Excellent location very close to city centre - easily reached on foot. Also right across the train station which is connected to the hotel via a tunnel. Our room did not have airconditioning although it is advertised as having individually controlled ac rooms. Rooms very spacious indeed. Overall excellent service and location make this hotel a very recommended one.

In spite of the comparatively classic, or old building all the fascilities work well and the offered services are excellent. Some might ask for a modern gorgeous looking lobby and elevetors for a five-star hotel but this hotel is substantially a five-star hotel.

the standard room is old, deteriored, the bed is uncomfortable and is not air conditioned. We are sleep with open windows and the backround noise is too uncomfortable.
