Very well located hotel, three blocks away from the old town, across the bridge.I went with a friend. When we booked it we asked and paid for a room with a toilet. When we got there we found out we got a room with a shower without a WC, which was quite disappointing. However, the hotel is great, the breakfast is good and the location is fantastic. If I were to go back to Innsbruck I would not doubt about going there again.

The breakfast was lazy with no hot food (just tea or coffee). There was no bath and so no point listing wc/bath on room description. Lastly the mattress was appaulling and ended up injuring my husbands back. Sorry just basic requirements. I wish I had paid more to go somewhere else.

Our stay at guesthouse Innbrücke was very pleasant. The guesthouse is located a short walk across the bridge from Innsbruck's picturesque Old Town. If you're looking for somewhere to get a quiet night's sleep, this is the place. They were very accommodating - when we arrived, they didn't have a double room to spare, but let us use a triple room for no extra cost. We were also able to extend our stay by an extra day. There is a small bar on the ground floor, but we didn't hear noise from it at all. The only drawback for non-smokers is that smoke from the bar can waft up into the upstairs corridors.

We might have had the smallest room in the hotel. We could not close the curtains properly because the beds stood in front of the windows. We could not even close the windows without danger of falling from the beds. we had two seperate beds with a small table in between, on which stood a night lamp without shade, so while reading you looked right into the bulb. the personnel was not very friendly. Wenn leaving the hotel there is no sidewalk while the street is very busy and cars come around the curve any moment. It is really dangerous! Innsbruck itsel is beautiful and the hotel is very well located.

Nice location. Price was extremely good for location. I went there with my wife. The hotel is two steps far from the city centre. All the hotel employees were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are simple but clean! The breakfast was very good. We really loved the staying at the Innbrucke and, probably, we will come back in the next future. I suggest the electronic payment acceptance.

The breakfast was very good, and free internet access was available. We were served by different staff members on check-in and check-out. One spoke excellent English, the other limited. Despite requesting a twin room, we were given a room with a double bed only. We had a very small private bathroom, in which the sink was filled with tepid water from the cleaner or previous guest. The biggest problem was that the hotel was not able to accept electronic payment so we had to pay in cash. The staff member on reception saw that I had exact change and insisted on taking it all, even though I said it would leave me with nothing but a 100 euro note and I needed change for the bus. It created a very inconvenient situation.

If you do not mind sharing the toilettes, this guesthouse is far better than many 4 stars hotels. It's very clean family run guesthouse with the great location. There is a cosy busy bar on the ground floor, but you will find a very nice, quiet and traditonal Austrian hotel up there. The hosts are very hospitable, english-speaking. The breakfast is great. The Hotel has a great view of the Apls and asian-welcomed. We're so regret we stayed there only 1 night. If we go to Innsbruck, we will stay there again for sure. Highly recommended.

I was disgusted by the cleanliness of the room. I am not sure they put clean sheets in the room. The breakfast had few offerings and lower quality than normal for a Germanic/Austrian breakfast.nPlus I could hear and understand the conversation of the couple in the room next to us through the amazingly thin walls.

A group of four of us (two couples) stayed at this family run Gasthof in April and had a great experience. The rooms were simple but very clean. We shared bathrooms with the rest of the floor but this was never a problem. The only problem we had is that my husband and I had a room on the side of the hotel where there is a busy road. I am a very light sleeper so this was a little bit of a problem. My husband, however, didn't even notice any noise! The other couple we were with got a room on the third floor and said it was very quite. Breakfast was good, especially the hot chocolate! Above all, the friendly staff made our stay in Innsbruck great! Daniel is the fifth generation in his family to work in the family run hotel and he was so friendly and helpful!

Wonderful location, very highly recommended, couldn't get much closer to the centre. Price was extremely good for location. We shared shower & toilets but saw no one else in them when we were there. We stayed in a double room at the Hotel Innbrucke and really enjoyed the stay. The room wasnt en suite but didnt find this to be a problem as the toilets and showers were very close. The hotel is in a great location as it was only a 1-2 minute walk into the old town. The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative was that it was a little noisy at night but we were quite prepared for that as other reviews had commented on this, but it wasnt too bad. The downstairs bar where some locals drink was very smokey but luckily the smoke didnt come upstairs into rooms!! The beds were very comfortable too. We stayed at this hotel as it was one of the cheapest on internet, very reasonable for the service you get!

Very nice hotel in a great location for exploring Innsbruck and its surrounds! Hotel is actually located directly infront of the bridge, not up the street. What a gem! It really is great quality for the price paid. Breakfast was typical Tyrolean, nice and filling. There are no tea making facilities in the room, but why would you need them anyway - get out and explore the town, which is literally and 2 minute walk. As some previous reviews talk about noise levels, we were prepared for the worst. But we stayed on the 3rd floor and couldn't hear a thing. No ensuite in the room, but it wasn't a problem. Great hotel!

Quite noisy hotel because of the pub downstairs but the price, the quality of the room (without bathroom) and the location really near the centre make of this hotel the best choice in Innsbruck. It's not a hotel but a fairly inexpensive guest house. Bar interesting hangout of local 9-5 drinkers. One shower per floor but clean and plenty of hot water. Breakfast room bright and cheerful with views across river and city. Main advantage is proximity to city centre just over the bridge. Main disadvantage, access up a steep, narrow side street and bus route with virtually no pavement. Reasonable value at the price.

For the overall price it was a great deal, good breakfast, very friendly and accomodating staff. A few minor complaints: We stayed here for 2 nights; the hotel is not called hotel innbrucke but rather Gasthof innbrucke so we walked right by it the first time; it is located along a very busy road that is just one lane and very very narrow sidewalk that you have to walk down to get to the entrance while having to be careful that the cars going by are at a safe distance from you, last and final small complaint was that there is a bar right inside of the front entrance and there is always a lot of cigarette smoke in the hotel, there is also anoother bar/club ubderneath the hotel and its open late, all the college students accumulate there until late; so it was a bit noisy in the evenings and we had to keep our windows shut because of the loudness of the bar and the alley/street outside our window.

The hotel is very near the heart of historical center. You can take the rails (line A) 5 min from Hbf down at the marketplatz and then walk just 2 min across the Inn river to the hotel. The breakfast is good and delicious. Anyway, a young receptionist is not friendly. There are no soap and no deposit room. You must take the risk!!! to leave your luggage under the stair. And, the check out time is very early, 07.00 am. Do not wake up late!!!

The location of the door to the hotel is around the corner from the front of the building. There is a very tiny sidewalk there next to a busy street so it was difficult to navigate with luggage and the traffic. The room was sparse but clean with a very small shower room down the hall. The towels provided were tiny and worn and not very useful. But for the price, it was a good location and fine for one night.

You can't beat the location of this place in relation to downtown Innsbruck. It's just across the bridge from the old town area. The staff was nice and quite friendly. Breakfast was standard European fare but nothing special. Parking for us was a bit of a walk to the closest and still available city parking garage. Bring your ear plugs as the hotel lies on a busy city street which remained busy all night long. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

Location - ideally placed close to the centre of town offering views (from rooms at the front of the building) across the river to the main tourist centre. Situated above a lively bar and next to a busy road, this is not a quiet hotel. Rooms - Clean, good size, basic but inoffensive furnishings. The rooms on the top floor at the front of the building (17 and 18 -one with bathroom, one without) have a bit of character. Staff - Friendly, approachable and helpful. Overall - Great hotel for the price. Excellent breakfast.

My wife and I stayed here during a month long trip of Europe. We stayed in a double room with no shower (but there was a sink in the room). Overall it was a great deal. Our room was very basic (no frills) but very very clean. One of the cleanest rooms of our trip. The bathrooms were very clean as well. in fact, we saw the staff cleaning them. The inn is located right across the river from downtown and close to everything. There are stunning views of the mountains all around. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was awesome, especially for us as we went skiing and needed a hearty meal before. Our only complaint is that it was a little noisy at night because there is a bar nearby. We did, however, stay on the first floor so this was probably worse for us. Overall it was a great experience and value (50 euro/night for a double). Oh... since we had a car, I should mention that you can park on the street and pay the meter or they have a parking lot for 4 euro/day.

Hotel was a good value and super located to the city centre of Innsbrück. The only surprise was that the double room only had 2 separate beds. Breakfast was very good for the price.

The shared bathrooms and shower were clean. The location of the hotel was great and the hotel staff was very friendly. It was very loud though, sound seems to travel everywhere in the hotel so you can hear everytime someone flushes a toilet or walks up the stairs. The beds weren't very comfortable either. But neither reason was enough to ruin our trip and for the price the hotel was very reasonable. Overall an excellent stay and we had a great weekend ski trip.

It's a very nice place to stay at this price. The WC and shower room just several steps away. Good breakfast included. 5 Euros for private parking. We recommand this place to our friends.

An excellent hotel in its price range. Very good price/quality ratio. We found the hotel centrally located, easy to get to. The staff is very competent and the breakfast is generous. The one drawback is that some of the other hotel guests were a little rowdy

Gorgeous typical building ideally located in Innsbruck, close to everything in walking distance. We specially appreciated the welcome, representative of the kindness of Austrian people. The Breakfast buffet is not exceptional but correct. For the price you pay, this hotel is a very good and recommendable place to stay in Innsbruck.

The hotel is in a great central location, we had a room on the top floor (3rd) which had a very nice view of the river, city center, and mountains in the background. The only complaint is that I reserved a "3 room apartment" but there is no such thing. They just give you three separate rooms. We were staying with two other couples and it would have been nice to have an apartment, instead our rooms were all on different floors. The employees were very nice! My wife became sick and we left a day early and they did not charge us for the last day even though I had already made the reservation. Would recommend to others if you're travelling on a budget.

Stayed in a loft room that was very romantic with a beautiful view of the snow capped peaks, river and the old town. Our room did not have an ensuite however private bathroom and toilet were down the hall, large and clean. There is no lift but most of us should walk up more stairs anyway. Hotel is an easy 15 minute stroll from the main train station. Highly recommended!

I was supposed to have a parking place but no one were available at the time of my arrival. This non availability cost me a ticket of 20 euro. I was not very happy of this misadventure!!!

It was quiet during the week, but very noisy on weekends due to guests moving from the hotel pub upstairs to their rooms. Generally it was a good place at reasonable prices.

I must say that the room and "Innbrucke" itself were truly amazing. The ambiance and feel of an authentic Austrian vacation were rich in the atmosphere in and around the hotel. I would change nothing about the experience: very friendly staff, comfortabe beds, fine breakfasts, clean rooms, and nice central location. Two thumbs up!!!

Good people. Only 1 day , a party downstairs kept the noise levels high upto about 2 am. Great location.

The Innbrucke was so cute, but it is right above one of the busiest bars in town so it is loud right up until the early morning hours. The hotel was friendly and clean and the service was excellent. There is not any airconditioning and it was VERY hot on the 2 and 3rd floors due to the lack of air flow even though it is next to the river where the air is cooler in the summer. Directions from the train station (perhaps with the bus numbers- the A and E bus get you to the hotel...) would be helpful for travelers.
