Hotel Villa Cesi - Impruneta

This hotel is the best. it represents tuscany and what one expects of the area. It is a bit tricky to find and we found the location of hotel through comments from other travellers. On passing the main square just as you are leaving the village keep an eye for a turn to the left. no problem then. The restaurant in the village square was open till late at night and very welcoming and good.

The staff was quite nice specially at the reception but the waiters could not speak any English and that could be a bit frustrating at times. The food was not that great and there was not much choice for children but there are nice restaurants in Impruneta. The swimming pool area was really nice but there are so many mosquitoes around that you cannot really enjoy it...

If you travel by car, the hotel offers you an exellent opportunity to explore Florence and the entire Tuscany, in combination with a good service and nice conditions. It is located in the quiet area on the hills and is only 20 minutes drive from the very center of Florence. In an hour, you could easily reach Siena, Pisa and all other major attraction of the region. Finally, the small city of Impruneta is just couple of minutes from the hotel. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was very good.

An excellent hotel, just outside of Florence with excellent views and quiet surroundings with good restaurants nearby. Over all extremely good value for money

Room very clean and spacious. Breakfast included and very good. Located in a quite and nice place, with a beautiful park and swimmingpool. The price is very cheap for the quality of the hotel. The multietnic staff is very friendly. So, I suggest to go here for visiting the Chianti area.

This was a beautiful place. The setting was forest like, and very pretty. The hotel was nicely decorated and the dinner was very good. If you are heading north from the Chianti Road, this is a great place to stay. Only about 20 minutes from Florence. The staff was not extremely welcoming, but everything else was very nice. Looks like they have excellent business meeting accomodations.

Everything was very nice, the surrounding is beautiful. The only thing I did not like was the loud air-conditioning.

We loved our 6 days stay in Impruneta. The hotel surroundings were very nice, and the place was very well situated to visit Tuscany (bus to go to Firenze center directly from Impruneta for 1 euro, whereas Firenze parkings are really expensive). One thing to know : there are sometimes weddings at the hotel, and it may be a bit noisy then. Anyway, a very good relationship between rate/quality !
